The Bride, the church should not mix with uncleanliness – Explanation with a pattern
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, in the bride, the church which is our soul if the deeds of iniquity, which are the thoughts of flesh are not completely removed then God along with his sword he is the one that kills and due to that our inner city is the cauldron and our soul which is killed is the meat and it is said that those who live in this manner are an abomination and are unclean to God. The above-mentioned things God is showing as a pattern to the Gentiles.
In this manner we also meditated that we must never accept the counsels of those who live as an abomination in our life. Also, it is written that among the flying insects which have four feet, whoever touches the carcass shall be unclean. But it is written that whoever carries the carcass of any of them shall wash his clothes and be unclean until evening. But regarding the animal what God is telling is that it is written that the carcass of any animal which divides the foot but is not cloven-hoofed or does not chew the cud, is unclean to us and everyone who touches them shall be unclean.
Also, what God is telling is that it is written that among all that goes on its paws, among all kinds of animals that go on all fours, all are unclean to us. Whoever touches any such carcass shall be unclean but whoever carries any such carcass shall wash his clothes and be unclean until evening. Next, among the creeping things that creep on the earth those that are unclean are: the mole, the mouse, and the large lizard after its kind; the gecko, the sand reptile, the sand lizard, and the chameleon: these kind of creeping things are unclean. If anyone touches them when they are dead shall be unclean until evening.
In the above-mentioned ones if the dead ones fall on anything it shall be unclean till evening. Whatever item it is whether it is any item of wood or clothing or skin or sack, whatever item it is, in which any work is done, it will be unclean until evening. It must be put in water and should be made clean. But if any of them fall in any earthen vessel whatever is in it shall be unclean: We must break them. Also, if that water falls upon any edible food then it becomes unclean, and any drink that may be drunk from it becomes unclean. And everything on which a part of any such carcass falls shall be unclean; if it falls on the cooking stove, it will be unclean. But that cooking stove should be broken down.
Nevertheless, a spring or a cistern, in which there is plenty of water, shall be clean. But whoever touches any such carcass becomes unclean. And if it falls on any planting seed which is to be sown, the planting seed does not become unclean. But if water is put on the seed, and if a part of any such carcass falls on it, it becomes unclean to you and it is written in the word of God.
My dear people, regarding the above-mentioned things we must keep them in mind and should walk carefully. Not only that, but the inner meanings are that after we have taken the covenant with the blood of Christ, that soul, after it has come in the experience of salvation, with those who are uncircumcised, that is, we should not keep any relationship with any souls that are not saved, and this God is explaining to us and is showing us as a pattern.
Regarding this only, 2 Corinthians 6: 14 – 18 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?
And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”
Therefore “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.”
“I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, we can understand that unbelievers are the children of Belial. Belial means the children of the devil. Therefore, the people who are redeemed that is the believers should not keep any kind of relationship with the unbelievers, but it is said that they should separate themselves and live alone. That is why, the word of God says that do not touch what is unclean.
Regarding this, Titus 1: 14 – 16 not giving heed to Jewish fables and commandments of men who turn from the truth.
To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.
They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.
The pattern for this only is seen in the book of Leviticus those whose soul has not attained fullness, that is regarding those who have not attained the image of God, God is telling in many kinds as animals, birds, creeping things. This is because in them the soul has no image. My dear people who are reading this, each one of us must analyze and know ourselves.
Regarding this, the word of God in Ezra 10: 1 – 11 Now while Ezra was praying, and while he was confessing, weeping, and bowing down before the house of God, a very large assembly of men, women, and children gathered to him from Israel; for the people wept very bitterly.
And Shechaniah the son of Jehiel, one of the sons of Elam, spoke up and said to Ezra, “We have trespassed against our God, and have taken pagan wives from the peoples of the land; yet now there is hope in Israel in spite of this.
Now therefore, let us make a covenant with our God to put away all these wives and those who have been born to them, according to the advice of my master and of those who tremble at the commandment of our God; and let it be done according to the law.
Arise, for this matter is your responsibility. We also are with you. Be of good courage and do it.”
Then Ezra arose, and made the leaders of the priests, the Levites, and all Israel swear an oath that they would do according to this word. So, they swore an oath.
Then Ezra rose up from before the house of God, and went into the chamber of Jehohanan the son of Eliashib; and when he came there, he ate no bread and drank no water, for he mourned because of the guilt of those from the captivity.
And they issued a proclamation throughout Judah and Jerusalem to all the descendants of the captivity, that they must gather at Jerusalem,
and that whoever would not come within three days, according to the instructions of the leaders and elders, all his property would be confiscated, and he himself would be separated from the assembly of those from the captivity.
So all the men of Judah and Benjamin gathered at Jerusalem within three days. It was the ninth month, on the twentieth of the month; and all the people sat in the open square of the house of God, trembling because of this matter and because of heavy rain.
Then Ezra the priest stood up and said to them, “You have transgressed and have taken pagan wives, adding to the guilt of Israel.
Now therefore, make confession to the Lord God of your fathers, and do His will; separate yourselves from the peoples of the land, and from the pagan wives.”
If we meditate upon these verses, we will be able to understand the explanation told above. Therefore, my dear people, let us submit to the voice of God. The explanation regarding this God willing we will meditate tomorrow.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
