The Bride, the church who lost their strength due to sin, the law required to receive cleansing – as a pattern
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, in the bride, the church which is the inner man so that the curse and disease such as leprosy which occurs due to sin, does not come near anyone, if we obey God’s laws and commandments, this evil will not touch anyone. Also, leprosy is manifested in the body as many types. We meditated that all types of leprosy when they are cleansed itself, they become clean.
Also, God is telling Moses that the law of the leper for the day of his cleansing is that the leper should be brought to the priest. And the priest shall go out of the camp, and if he sees that the leprosy is healed in the leper, and he has become clean then for the one who must be cleansed Leviticus 14: 4 – 9 then the priest shall command to take for him who is to be cleansed two living and clean birds, cedar wood, scarlet, and hyssop.
And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water.
As for the living bird, he shall take it, the cedar wood and the scarlet and the hyssop, and dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water.
And he shall sprinkle it seven times on him who is to be cleansed from the leprosy, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose in the open field.
He who is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean. After that he shall come into the camp and shall stay outside his tent seven days.
But on the seventh day he shall shave all the hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows—all his hair he shall shave off. He shall wash his clothes and wash his body in water, and he shall be clean.
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, we see that it shows how our soul should be washed by the blood of the Lamb and should be cleansed and that when we receive baptism by water and are washed and cleansed all our old sins are buried and we must put on the new image. After that he should come into the camp and stay outside the tent and cleanse himself. Then he will be clean.
It is written that on the eighth day he shall take two male lambs without blemish, one ewe lamb of the first year, three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering, and one log of oil. If we analyse and know the meaning of this carefully, after the cleansing of our sin we must enter the camp for seven days and when we stay outside the tent, our inner man, which is the new image is being put on
Our soul should be strengthened and regarding that only, there were two birds which became on the eighth day, as two male lambs without blemish and one ewe lamb without blemish God is showing this as a spiritual pattern. This is being shown as the image of the triune God.
Also, in Leviticus 14: 11 Then the priest who makes him clean shall present the man who is to be made clean, and those things, before the Lord, at the door of the tabernacle of meeting. In the above-mentioned verses, so that we do not get stuck with any evil diseases we must safeguard ourselves by the word of God.
Also, my dear people who are reading this if our soul is filled with sin and such stains, we must confess our sins to God and we must be cleansed by the blood of the Lamb and in the soul of the inner man we must be anointed with oil and if we will submit our soul God will cleanse us. God is saying that each person should cleanse according to the strength of their soul.
Regarding that only, Leviticus 14: 32 This is the law for one who had a leprous sore, who cannot afford the usual cleansing.” In this manner, let us all submit ourselves.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
