“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Psalms 51: 12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
We must safeguard so that leprosy plague does not come into the house of God, which is the bride, the church
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, in the body of a man the leprosy that occurs on the skin, the sixth type is active leprosy and we meditated regarding this. We meditated regarding how this active leprosy can be found out and the ways for it to be removed.
But today, the thing that we are going to meditate upon is that Leviticus 14: 33 – 57 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:
“When you have come into the land of Canaan, which I give you as a possession, and I put the leprous plague in a house in the land of your possession,
and he who owns the house comes and tells the priest, saying, ‘It seems to me that there is some plague in the house,’
then the priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest goes into it to examine the plague, that all that is in the house may not be made unclean; and afterward the priest shall go in to examine the house.
And he shall examine the plague; and indeed, if the plague is on the walls of the house with ingrained streaks, greenish or reddish, which appear to be deep in the wall,
then the priest shall go out of the house, to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days.
And the priest shall come again on the seventh day and look; and indeed, if the plague has spread on the walls of the house,
then the priest shall command that they take away the stones in which is the plague, and they shall cast them into an unclean place outside the city.
And he shall cause the house to be scraped inside, all around, and the dust that they scrape off they shall pour out in an unclean place outside the city.
Then they shall take other stones and put them in the place of those stones, and he shall take other mortar and plaster the house.
“Now if the plague comes back and breaks out in the house, after he has taken away the stones, after he has scraped the house, and after it is plastered,
then the priest shall come and look; and indeed, if the plague has spread in the house, it is an active leprosy in the house. It is unclean.
And he shall break down the house, its stones, its timber, and all the plaster of the house, and he shall carry them outside the city to an unclean place.
Moreover, he who goes into the house at all while it is shut up shall be unclean until evening.
And he who lies down in the house shall wash his clothes, and he who eats in the house shall wash his clothes.
“But if the priest comes in and examines it, and indeed the plague has not spread in the house after the house was plastered, then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.
And he shall take, to cleanse the house, two birds, cedar wood, scarlet, and hyssop.
Then he shall kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water;
and he shall take the cedar wood, the hyssop, the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird and in the running water and sprinkle the house seven times.
And he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird and the running water and the living bird, with the cedar wood, the hyssop, and the scarlet.
Then he shall let the living bird loose outside the city in the open field, and make atonement for the house, and it shall be clean.
“This is the law for any leprous sore and scale,
for the leprosy of a garment and of a house,
for a swelling and a scab and a bright spot,
to teach when it is unclean and when it is clean. This is the law of leprosy.”
When we meditate upon these verses what God is telling is that after we have possessed the land of Canaan that God has given us as a possession, if in the house there, leprosy plague is made to come, what it means when we say that is; our soul is the house of God. If we make leprosy plague to come in that house, he must inform the priest. This is a pattern to show that we have attained a plague. Then all that is in the house will be unclean.
Our priest, who is our Lord Jesus Christ will examine that house and if the plague is on the walls of the house there are ingrained streaks, greenish or reddish, which appear to be deep in the wall, the priest will shut up that house. The meaning of this is that our inner wall is without holiness and becomes faulty. But the house of God, which is the bride, the church should be without any blemish. Regarding that, it is said in Song of Solomon 4: 7 You are all fair, my love, and there is no spot in you.
In our life, we must safeguard ourselves and live so that there are no mistakes in holiness. But if the house is faulty, he is shutting it for seven days which means it is showing us as a pattern that he is stopping our journey of faith.
Regarding these, in Numbers 12: 9 – 15 So the anger of the Lord was aroused against them, and He departed.
And when the cloud departed from above the tabernacle, suddenly Miriam became leprous, as white as snow. Then Aaron turned toward Miriam, and there she was, a leper.
So, Aaron said to Moses, “Oh, my lord! Please do not lay this sin on us, in which we have done foolishly and in which we have sinned.
Please do not let her be as one dead, whose flesh is half consumed when he comes out of his mother’s womb!”
So, Moses cried out to the Lord, saying, “Please heal her, O God, I pray!”
Then the Lord said to Moses, “If her father had but spit in her face, would she not be shamed seven days? Let her be shut out of the camp seven days, and afterward she may be received again.”
So, Miriam was shut out of the camp seven days, and the people did not journey till Miriam was brought in again.
That is, because Aaron and Miriam spoke against Moses, God is getting angry with both of them. The cloud departed from above the tabernacle. Then Miriam became leprous, as white as snow. Then the Lord said to Moses, let her be shut out of the camp seven days, and afterward she may be received again. And the people did not journey till Miriam was brought in again.
Then, after it has been kept shut for seven days, while examining it, if it has spread, we must again change the evil deeds in the inner part and we must cleanse it. After that if it spreads the house should be completely broken down says the Lord. That is why, the word of God says he is one who builds and breaks down in Jeremiah 18: 6 – 11 “O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter?” says the Lord. “Look, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel!
The instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, to pull down, and to destroy it,
if that nation against whom I have spoken turns from its evil, I will relent of the disaster that I thought to bring upon it.
And the instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it,
if it does evil in My sight so that it does not obey My voice, then I will relent concerning the good with which I said I would benefit it.
“Now therefore, speak to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Behold, I am fashioning a disaster and devising a plan against you. Return now everyone from his evil way and make your ways and your doings good.”’”
When we meditate upon these verses even though our God breaks it down, he will build it again. That is why, in Leviticus 14: 50 – 53, Then he shall kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water;
and he shall take the cedar wood, the hyssop, the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird and in the running water and sprinkle the house seven times.
And he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird and the running water and the living bird, with the cedar wood, the hyssop, and the scarlet.
Then he shall let the living bird loose outside the city in the open field, and make atonement for the house, and it shall be clean.
That is, he pushes out our soul which is filled with sin and by his word he creates a new creation within us. In this manner, God is making us new and cleansing us. In this manner, he gives us the law regarding leprosy and God reveals to us the things that are clean and unclean and regarding how we must safeguard ourselves without uncleanliness and God has revealed it to us. Therefore, let us submit ourselves to safeguard ourselves so that uncleanliness, which is leprosy will not touch inside the bride, the church.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
