“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 96: 9 Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

The Bride, the church should keep everyday as a holy day

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should not give place to fleshly thoughts, which are Gentiles in our soul and safeguard ourselves and if we do not our soul will be defiled and will be filled with abominations and our soul will die. Therefore, by the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ as those who have overcome death it saves us also along with Him.

But today the thing what we are going to meditate upon is Leviticus 19: 1 – 5 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

“Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel and say to them: ‘You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy.

‘Every one of you shall revere his mother and his father and keep My Sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.

‘Do not turn to idols, nor make for yourselves moulded gods: I am the Lord your God.

‘And if you offer a sacrifice of a peace offering to the Lord, you shall offer it of your own free will.

The thing what God told Moses to tell the people of Israel was that he is saying ‘You shall be holy, for I am holy. Also, he is saying that we should keep the Sabbaths. But Jesus Christ after he came to the world every day is him and that because he is holy, we must keep everyday as a holy day and this is the law of God.

Regarding this, Isaiah 58: 12 – 14 Those from among you shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.

“If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy day of the Lord honourable, and shall honour Him, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words,

Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord; And I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth and feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father. The mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

When we meditate upon this, Jesus Christ in our life is the one who corrects the rough paths and is the one who builds up the waste places and is the repairer of the breach and is the restorer of streets to dwell in. Also, we must call the Sabbath as a holy day, as a day of delight, as a glorious day and should consider it as honourable. Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord.

If we live in this manner, he will cause us to ride on the high hills and God is saying that he will feed us with the heritage of Jacob. Therefore, we, who are redeemed by Christ should worship God every day. But those who are offering peace offerings to God should offer it every day with free will.

For the peace offerings, we who are offering the sacrifice can eat it only on the same day and on the next day. On the third day, it is of no use to us. It is written in the word of God that it should be burned.  Whoever eats it on the third day, because he has profaned the hallowed offering of the Lord; he will bear his iniquity. Because it is so he shall be cut off from his people says the Lord.

Also, we must learn to follow and walk according to the laws that God has given us meaningfully and let us submit ourselves to walk according to it. Those laws are Leviticus 19: 9 – 18 ‘When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not wholly reap the corners of your field, nor shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest.

And you shall not glean your vineyard, nor shall you gather every grape of your vineyard; you shall leave them for the poor and the stranger: I am the Lord your God.

‘You shall not steal, nor deal falsely, nor lie to one another.

And you shall not swear by My name falsely, nor shall you profane the name of your God: I am the Lord.

‘You shall not cheat your neighbour, nor rob him. The wages of him who is hired shall not remain with you all night until morning.

You shall not curse the deaf, nor put a stumbling block before the blind, but shall fear your God: I am the Lord.

‘You shall do no injustice in judgment. You shall not be partial to the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty. In righteousness you shall judge your neighbour.

You shall not go about as a talebearer among your people; nor shall you take a stand against the life of your neighbour: I am the Lord.

‘You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbour, and not bear sin because of him.

You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbour as yourself: I am the Lord.

My dear people, let us come forward to accept the laws of God and walk according to it.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
