Jonah 2: 9 But I will sacrifice to You with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay what I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord.”

The Bride, the church should receive the fullness of grace and offer the sacrifice of his vows to God

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that the bride, the church should not do God’s work for money and if they do God’s work for money holiness will not manifest in them and those who are living a life which does not please God, they should not eat the holy offerings and if they do eat, they are defiling the holy name of God.

Also, today the thing that we are going to meditate upon is Leviticus 22: 17 – 24 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

“Speak to Aaron and his sons, and to all the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘Whatever man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, who offers his sacrifice for any of his vows or for any of his freewill offerings, which they offer to the Lord as a burnt offering—

you shall offer of your own free will a male without blemish from the cattle, from the sheep, or from the goats.

Whatever has a defect, you shall not offer, for it shall not be acceptable on your behalf.

And whoever offers a sacrifice of a peace offering to the Lord, to fulfill his vow, or a freewill offering from the cattle or the sheep, it must be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no defect in it.

Those that are blind or broken or maimed, or have an ulcer or eczema or scabs, you shall not offer to the Lord, nor make an offering by fire of them on the altar to the Lord.

Either a bull or a lamb that has any limb too long or too short you may offer as a freewill offering, but for a vow it shall not be accepted.

‘You shall not offer to the Lord what is bruised or crushed or torn or cut; nor shall you make any offering of them in your land.

God told Moses to speak to Aaron, his sons and the children of Israel and what he said to say is that whatever man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, if they will go to offer sacrifice for any of their vows or for any of their freewill offerings, which they offer to the Lord as a burnt offering; they shall offer of their own free will a male without blemish from the cattle, from the sheep, or from the goats. The explanation of this is that they should receive fullness of grace and in that according to their vows they should give their soul to God as a freewill offering. But they should not offer anything with defects. The reason for that is due to our sin, if our soul is with defects God does not accept that.

Also, when we offer a sacrifice of a peace offering to the Lord, to fulfill our vow, or a freewill offering if God should accept the praise offering that we are offering our heart should walk truthfully and honestly according to the truth. If we are without any blemish in this manner, God will accept the offering to fulfil our vow.

Also, Leviticus 22: 23, 24 Either a bull or a lamb that has any limb too long or too short you may offer as a freewill offering, but for a vow it shall not be accepted.

‘You shall not offer to the Lord what is bruised or crushed or torn or cut; nor shall you make any offering of them in your land.

According to the above-mentioned verses if we offer sacrifice to God, he will not accept it. Also, in Leviticus 22: 29 – 33 And when you offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the Lord, offer it of your own free will.

On the same day it shall be eaten; you shall leave none of it until morning: I am the Lord.

“Therefore, you shall keep My commandments, and perform them: I am the Lord.

You shall not profane My holy name, but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel. I am the Lord who sanctifies you,

who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the Lord.”

In this manner, let us all submit ourselves in the presence of the Lord to live and walk according to the laws of God.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
