“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Psalms 119: 33 Teach me, O Lord, the way of Your statutes, and I shall keep it to the end.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
We, the bride, the church should keep only Gentiles as slaves and later we can possess them for God as an inheritance.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should not rule anyone with rigor and we should sell anyone who has been brought out from the bondage of Egypt as slaves.
But today the verse that we are going to meditate upon is Leviticus 25: 44 – 51 And as for your male and female slaves whom you may have—from the nations that are around you, from them you may buy male and female slaves.
Moreover, you may buy the children of the strangers who dwell among you, and their families who are with you, which they beget in your land; and they shall become your property.
And you may take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them as a possession; they shall be your permanent slaves. But regarding your brethren, the children of Israel, you shall not rule over one another with rigor.
‘Now if a sojourner or stranger close to you becomes rich, and one of your brethren who dwells by him becomes poor, and sells himself to the stranger or sojourner close to you, or to a member of the stranger’s family,
after he is sold he may be redeemed again. One of his brothers may redeem him;
or his uncle or his uncle’s son may redeem him; or anyone who is near of kin to him in his family may redeem him; or if he is able he may redeem himself.
Thus he shall reckon with him who bought him: The price of his release shall be according to the number of years, from the year that he was sold to him until the Year of Jubilee; it shall be according to the time of a hired servant for him.
If there are still many years remaining, according to them he shall repay the price of his redemption from the money with which he was bought.
What the above-mentioned verses are telling is that male slaves or female slaves should be Gentiles from the nations around you. We can buy such people for a price. Also, among the strangers that are staying with us, if there are anyone like that who are born among us, we may take them as slaves and we can possess them. These things for what God is showing as a pattern is that firstly we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. But because of his mercy together with Christ by his spirit he is renewing us and is making us his inheritance.
In this manner, we who are slaves if we keep anyone God can make them also as an inheritance. And he can keep them as an inheritance for us and for our generation after us, to inherit them as a possession; God can make them as an inheritance. But if they are as slaves, we must not rule over them with rigor says the Lord.
Not only that, if the stranger who is with us and the sojourner becomes rich and if our church, the brethren become poor and sells himself to them, we must give them the heavenly food that is needed, and we can redeem them. His uncle or his uncle’s son or anyone who is near of kin to him in his family may redeem him. From the year that he was sold till the year of Jubilee when he was released, he shall reckon with him who bought him the price of his release. How many years they were sold, that many years his price of redemption according to the price of a hired servant, according to the number of years should be seen. But if there are still many years remaining, he shall repay the price of his redemption from the money with which he was bought. Our Lord Jesus Christ is appearing within us as that price of redemption.
Regarding that what is said is that Mark 10: 45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.
When we meditate upon this, even if anyone has been sold for many years our Lord Jesus Christ gives us his life as a ransom and is sold and is releasing those who are caught in the hands of the stranger. Also, he who has been sold if there remain but a few years until the Year of Jubilee, then he shall reckon with him, and according to his years as the price of his redemption, again we must submit our soul. In this manner, he is releasing us, his people from the hands of the enemy and God says in Leviticus 25: 55 For the children of Israel are servants to Me; they are My servants whom I brought out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.
When we meditate upon this, God is telling that the children of Israel are servants to me. The servants of God, who are the children of Israel all of us should safeguard all the above-mentioned laws and walk accordingly. Let us submit ourselves.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
