“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Psalms 86: 12 I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Your name forevermore.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
We, the bride, the church should submit ourselves with a vow and we must completely belong to God.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated regarding how if we, the bride, the church become captive due to the reason of our iniquity, if we confess our mistakes in the presence of God, the Lord will once again bring us into our own land, which is Canaan. God is bringing us to our own land means that if we, the bride, the church worship God along with Christ, in that worship Christ reigns within us and destroys the foreign worship and profane fire that is within us and cleanses us little by little and if we worship God in a manner that pleases him, God will be glorified through us.
That is, if God accepts the worship that we offer and if he must be pleased in that, we must offer ourselves to God as an offering Leviticus 27: 1 – 7 Now the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When a man consecrates by a vow certain person to the Lord, according to your valuation,
if your valuation is of a male from twenty years old up to sixty years old, then your valuation shall be fifty shekels of silver, according to the shekel of the sanctuary.
If it is a female, then your valuation shall be thirty shekels;
and if from five years old up to twenty years old, then your valuation for a male shall be twenty shekels, and for a female ten shekels;
and if from a month old up to five years old, then your valuation for a male shall be five shekels of silver, and for a female your valuation shall be three shekels of silver;
and if from sixty years old and above, if it is a male, then your valuation shall be fifteen shekels, and for a female ten shekels.
When we meditate upon these verses, what God is telling Moses and the children of Israel is that if any man consecrates by a vow himself to the Lord, those who have been vowed according to God’s valuation belong to the Lord. From this what we understand is that if we consecrate ourselves to God, submit ourselves and worship God, according to the valuation of the holy shekels, he is comparing the spiritual life in our soul to silver shekels and putting a valuation for it.
It is written that your valuation of a male child from twenty years old up to sixty years old should be fifty shekels of silver, according to the shekel of the sanctuary and the female child should be thirty shekels. In this, God is showing the age as a pattern because when we are born of God and when we are preparing to join along with the church is the first day of our birth and all of us must know this. Regarding this, what God is showing as a pattern is that in Exodus 12: 1 – 9 Now the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,
“This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you.
Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying: ‘On the tenth of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household.
And if the household is too small for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next to his house take it according to the number of the persons; according to each man’s need you shall make your count for the lamb.
Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats.
Now you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month. Then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at twilight.
And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it.
Then they shall eat the flesh on that night; roasted in fire, with unleavened bread and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
Do not eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted in fire—its head with its legs and its entrails.
The explanation of this is that it is considered that the month that we are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb is the beginning of the months. Therefore, my dear people day, month, year all are our redeemed soul, which is the life of Christ. Therefore, when God is telling about age, he is calculating the age from the day our soul is redeemed. A male child from five years old up to twenty years old should be valued at twenty shekels, and female child as ten shekels, and from a month old up to five years old male child should be valued as five shekels of silver and female child as three shekels of silver and from sixty years old and above, if it is a male, should be fifteen shekels, and for a female child ten shekels.
God is dividing the age as four divisions. This is because according to each age the strength of the soul will be there. Those who are above sixty years will have less strength of their soul. Therefore, for them according to the valuation of the shekel of the sanctuary their value is less. This is because in their lives when the age increases for many people, the strength of their faith decreases.
Therefore, the word of God in Leviticus 27: 8 – 13 ‘But if he is too poor to pay your valuation, then he shall present himself before the priest, and the priest shall set a value for him; according to the ability of him who vowed, the priest shall value him.
‘If it is an animal that men may bring as an offering to the Lord, all that anyone gives to the Lord shall be holy.
He shall not substitute it or exchange it, good for bad or bad for good; and if he at all exchange’s animal for animal, then both it and the one exchanged for it shall be holy.
If it is an unclean animal which they do not offer as a sacrifice to the Lord, then he shall present the animal before the priest;
and the priest shall set a value for it, whether it is good or bad; as you, the priest, value it, so it shall be.
But if he wants at all to redeem it, then he must add one-fifth to your valuation.
According to what is said above, in our spiritual life if we are poor, we should present ourselves before the priest and he is saying this with a pattern. Our priest, according to Melchizedek is our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, according to each person’s spiritual growth God puts valuation for us and according to the vow that we have offered when we submit our soul before God if it is an animal (those who have not received the life of Christ) it should be holy to God says the Lord.
Also, according to our spiritual growth we must sacrifice our soul for God. If we will submit ourselves in this manner, according to our age he will make us holy. In this manner anyone among us should not substitute or exchange, good for bad or bad for good and offer to the Lord and we must safeguard ourselves regarding this. But if we surely confess our mistakes God will make us holy.
In this manner, let us submit ourselves to worship in holiness.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
