“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Psalms 119: 128 Therefore all Your precepts concerning all things I consider to be right; I hate every false way.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
We, the bride, the church should safeguard the body of Christ, which is the church, which is our inner man so that it is not wrecked as a pattern.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated regarding how God changed us, the bride, the church through Christ as firstborns.
Also, today the facts that we are going to meditate upon is Numbers 3: 43 And all the firstborn males, according to the number of names from a month old and above, of those who were numbered of them, were twenty-two thousand two hundred and seventy-three.
What this signifies is that the Lord spoke to Moses in the Wilderness of Sinai and commanded them to number the children of Levi by their fathers’ houses, by their families; you shall number every male from a month old and above. When we say one month old, we meditate in the past days regarding age. That is, when we are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb that is the date on which we are born of God. From then till the beginning of one month and the age above that God is telling them to number them and Moses did everything according to what God commanded. When they numbered in this manner, the sons of Levi by their names: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari. They, according to their generations those who were numbered there were seven thousand five hundred.
In this, the families of the Gershonites were to camp behind the tabernacle westward. The duties of the children of Gershon in the tabernacle of meeting included the tabernacle, the tent with its covering, the screen for the door of the tabernacle of meeting, the screen for the door of the court, the hangings of the court which are around the tabernacle and the altar, and their cords, according to all the work relating to them. All these things are a pattern of the body of Christ.
Next, those who were numbered under the families of Kohath were to camp on the south side of the tabernacle. The duty that was given to them included the ark, the table, the lampstand, the altars, the utensils of the sanctuary with which they ministered, the screen, and all the work relating to them. These are the things needed for worship. What this is showing as a pattern is that these are the teachings of Christ, commandments, and his good deeds. But Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest was to be chief over the leaders of the Levites Elizaphan and Eliasaph, with oversight of those who kept charge of the sanctuary and God commanded this.
Also, those who were numbered from the families of Merari were six thousand two hundred. The families of Merari were to camp on the north side of the tabernacle. And the duty that the Lord gave them included the boards of the tabernacle, its bars, its pillars, its sockets, its utensils, all the work relating to them, and the pillars of the court all around, with their sockets, their pegs, and their cords. What he is showing these things as a pattern to is that how God is uniting us along with Christ and till he makes us the firstborn along with him we must be within the protection of God and God is explaining this to us.
Also, we must always safeguard our master, who is Christ. Therefore, the word of God says in Proverbs 27: 18 Whoever keeps the fig tree will eat its fruit; so, he who waits on his master will be honoured. Therefore, we must always safeguard God’s commandments, laws, and statues. Then God will bless us.
Then Moses, Aaron and his sons before the tabernacle of meeting camped before the tabernacle on the east, to keep charge of the things that belong to God. That keeping in charge means our inner man should attain strength and should not become weary and for that all of us must be cautious and along with Christ we must worship God and we must glorify him and as a pattern for this God is manifesting himself to us. In this manner all who were numbered of the Levites, from a month old and above, were twenty-two thousand.
My dear people who are meditating upon this, within Christ we must all grow in grace and let us submit ourselves to receive holiness.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
