“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 102: 12 But You, O Lord, shall endure forever, and the remembrance of Your name to all generations.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

We, the bride, the church if we are in debt to God, we will become captive.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated regarding how we, the bride, the church should safeguard the body of Christ, which is the church, which is our inner man so that it is not wrecked.

Also, today the things that we are going to meditate upon are Numbers 3: 41 – 50 And you shall take the Levites for Me—I am the Lord—instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the livestock of the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the livestock of the children of Israel.”

So Moses numbered all the firstborn among the children of Israel, as the Lord commanded him.

And all the firstborn males, according to the number of names from a month old and above, of those who were numbered of them, were twenty-two thousand two hundred and seventy-three.

Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

“Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the livestock of the Levites instead of their livestock. The Levites shall be Mine: I am the Lord.

And for the redemption of the two hundred and seventy-three of the firstborn of the children of Israel, who are more than the number of the Levites,

you shall take five shekels for each one individually; you shall take them in the currency of the shekel of the sanctuary, the shekel of twenty gerahs.

And you shall give the money, with which the excess number of them is redeemed, to Aaron and his sons.”

So, Moses took the redemption money from those who were over and above those who were redeemed by the Levites.

From the firstborn of the children of Israel he took the money, one thousand three hundred and sixty-five shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary.

In the above-mentioned verses after numbering all the firstborn males of the children of Israel from a month old and above, and taking the number of their names, instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, take the Levites and separate and take the livestock of the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the livestock of the children of Israel for me, says the Lord. In this manner, as God told Moses separated and took them and when he counted them there were twenty-two thousand two hundred and seventy-three.

My dear people, we meditated in the past days regarding why the Lord separated the Levites specifically for God’s work. Also, again God is telling Moses, instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, take the Levites and separate and take the livestock of the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the livestock of the children of Israel. That is, God is making all the Levites as those belonging to God. That is, that tribe, when God called them through Moses, they did not see anything and because they followed God, he made their inheritance blessed from generation to generation and whatever character they might be, God separated them for him in all generations.

Also, after Moses did just like what God told Moses, for the firstborn of the children of Israel, who are more than the number of the Levites, from that two hundred and seventy-three people you should take five shekels for each one individually; you should take them in the currency of the shekel of the sanctuary and offer to the Lord. That shekel is of twenty gerahs. And you shall give the money, with which the excess number of them is redeemed, to Aaron and his sons. That amount is one thousand three hundred and sixty-five shekels. In this manner, according to the word of God, he is commanding that the redemption money of those redeemed should be given to Aaron and his sons.

My dear people, God is telling that render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s. Regarding that, in Mark 12: 14 – 17 When they had come, they said to Him, “Teacher, we know that You are true, and care about no one; for You do not regard the person of men but teach the way of God in truth. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?

Shall we pay, or shall we not pay?” But He, knowing their hypocrisy, said to them, “Why do you test Me? Bring Me a denarius that I may see it.”

So, they brought it. And He said to them, “Whose image and inscription is this?” They said to Him, “Caesar’s.”

And Jesus answered and said to them, “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” And they marvelled at Him.

Also, there were many women who were with Jesus that served Jesus with their substance. In Luke 8: 1 – 3 Now it came to pass, afterward, that He went through every city and village, preaching and bringing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God. And the twelve were with Him,

and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities—Mary called Magdalene, out of whom had come seven demons,

and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others who provided for Him from their substance.

From this what we must understand is that we must not be in debt to God. If any one of us are like that, when we read this, we must offer the debt that we are supposed to offer and settle it. Regarding that, the word of God in Luke 12: 56 – 59 Hypocrites! You can discern the face of the sky and of the earth, but how is it you do not discern this time?

“Yes, and why, even of yourselves, do you not judge what is right?

When you go with your adversary to the magistrate, make every effort along the way to settle with him, lest he drag you to the judge, the judge deliver you to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison.

I tell you, you shall not depart from there till you have paid the very last mite.”

When we meditate upon these words, if we do not walk according to this, God will give us captive in the hands of the enemy. Therefore, all of us in our spiritual life, along the way itself, when we are listening to the word of God let us reconcile with God. Then God will save us. Also, 1 Corinthians 9: 13, 14 Do you not know that those who minister the holy things eat of the things of the temple, and those who serve at the altar partake of the offerings of the altar?

Even so the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should live from the gospel.

Therefore, my dear people, we must not keep debt in what belongs to God. Also, for the Lord who redeemed and took us, we must surely give the offering that we are supposed to give and settle it. Let us all confess and submit ourselves.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
