“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Acts 10: 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

Our, the bride, the church’s Nazarite is our Lord Jesus Christ

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, what God is telling using Moses to the bride, the church, who are the children of Israel is the way to safeguard the vow of the Nazirite and we meditated regarding this in the past days.

But today we are going to meditate upon the remaining portion. That is, in Numbers 6: 13 – 27 Now this is the law of the Nazirite: When the days of his separation are fulfilled, he shall be brought to the door of the tabernacle of meeting.

And he shall present his offering to the Lord: one male lamb in its first year without blemish as a burnt offering, one ewe lamb in its first year without blemish as a sin offering, one ram without blemish as a peace offering,

a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and their grain offering with their drink offerings.

‘Then the priest shall bring them before the Lord and offer his sin offering and his burnt offering;

and he shall offer the ram as a sacrifice of a peace offering to the Lord, with the basket of unleavened bread; the priest shall also offer its grain offering and its drink offering.

Then the Nazirite shall shave his consecrated head at the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and shall take the hair from his consecrated head and put it on the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace offering.

‘And the priest shall take the boiled shoulder of the ram, one unleavened cake from the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and put them upon the hands of the Nazirite after he has shaved his consecrated hair,

and the priest shall wave them as a wave offering before the Lord; they are holy for the priest, together with the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the heave offering. After that the Nazirite may drink wine.’

“This is the law of the Nazirite who vows to the Lord the offering for his separation, and besides that, whatever else his hand is able to provide; according to the vow which he takes, so he must do according to the law of his separation.”

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

“Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them:

“The Lord bless you and keep you;

The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you;

The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.”’

“So, they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.”

When the days of his separation are fulfilled, he shall be brought to the door of the tabernacle of meeting and as an offering one male lamb in its first year without blemish as a burnt offering, one ewe lamb in its first year without blemish as a sin offering, one ram without blemish as a peace offering, a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and their grain offering with their drink offerings and he must offer them as a offering to the Lord.

These the priest shall bring before the presence of the Lord and offer his sin offering and offer his burnt offering; and he shall offer the ram as a sacrifice of a peace offering to the Lord, with the basket of unleavened bread; and he shall also offer his grain offering and his drink offering. Then the Nazirite shall shave his consecrated head at the door of the tabernacle of meeting and shall take the hair from his consecrated head and put it on the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace offering.

The explanation of this is that in our life, our Lord Jesus Christ is being manifested as a Nazirite and he is showing this as a pattern for that. That is, one male lamb in its first year without blemish, one ewe lamb in its first year without blemish, one ram without blemish – these God is offering as a sacrifice. That is, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, we must keep our hope on the triune God and walk according to what he says and our soul, spirit and body these should be submitted completely as a sacrifice and God is explaining and showing this.

Also, our Lord Jesus till he is revealed as a Nazirite in the city of Nazareth a man has to safeguard the vow of Nazirite and walk accordingly and till the day the vow of the Nazirite is fulfilled he should allow the locks of his hair to grow and during its end at the door of the tabernacle of meeting, the Nazirite shall shave his head and we read that he shall take the hair from his consecrated head and put it on the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace offering.

Till the days of the vow of Nazirite is fulfilled, he should not drink wine and we also read the other laws that God has put. After that, Numbers 6: 19 – 21 And the priest shall take the boiled shoulder of the ram, one unleavened cake from the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and put them upon the hands of the Nazirite after he has shaved his consecrated hair,

and the priest shall wave them as a wave offering before the Lord; they are holy for the priest, together with the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the heave offering. After that the Nazirite may drink wine.’

 “This is the law of the Nazirite who vows to the Lord the offering for his separation, and besides that, whatever else his hand is able to provide; according to the vow which he takes, so he must do according to the law of his separation.”

The above-mentioned verses are being told in the word of God to show us that there is an important place for Nazirites and in the Nazirite only holiness will be manifested. Lamentations 4: 1 – 11 How the gold has become dim! How changed the fine gold! The stones of the sanctuary are scattered at the head of every street.

The precious sons of Zion, valuable as fine gold, how they are regarded as clay pots, the work of the hands of the potter!

Even the jackals present their breasts to nurse their young; But the daughter of my people is cruel, like ostriches in the wilderness.

The tongue of the infant clings to the roof of its mouth for thirst; The young children ask for bread, but no one breaks it for them.

Those who ate delicacies are desolate in the streets; Those who were brought up in scarlet embrace ash heaps.

The punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom, which was overthrown in a moment, with no hand to help her!

Her Nazirites were brighter than snow and whiter than milk; They were more ruddy in body than rubies, like sapphire in their appearance.

Now their appearance is blacker than soot; They go unrecognized in the streets; Their skin clings to their bones, it has become as dry as wood.

Those slain by the sword are better off than those who die of hunger; For these pine away, stricken for lack of the fruits of the field.

The hands of the compassionate women have cooked their own children; They became food for them in the destruction of the daughter of my people.

The Lord has fulfilled His fury, he has poured out His fierce anger. He kindled a fire in Zion, and it has devoured its foundations.

When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, all those who are formed from this world, backslid and their appearance is blacker than soot. Also, many Nazirites were there. They were gone without any recognition of the place that they were in. Also, revealed by the angel of the Lord, conceived, warned while he was inside his mother’s womb and the child that was brought up is Samson. Though he was chosen by God to deliver and save Israel from the hands of the Philistines, he is also being destroyed in the hands of the Philistines.

From this, everyone born of sin cannot become a Nazirite. Therefore, Christ who was conceived through the Holy Spirit by a virgin is being manifested as a Nazirite. Regarding this, Matthew 2: 18 – 23 “A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, refusing to be comforted, because they are no more.”

Now when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,

saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the young Child’s life are dead.”

Then he arose, took the young Child and His mother, and came into the land of Israel.

But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judea instead of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. And being warned by God in a dream, he turned aside into the region of Galilee.

And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, “He shall be called a Nazarene.”

In this manner, Christ is manifested as a Nazirite. Being considered as a Nazirite is glorious more than all. Let us submit to this truth.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
