“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Jeremiah 33: 22 As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, nor the sand of the sea measured, so will I multiply the descendants of David My servant and the Levites who minister to Me.’”
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
We, the Bride, the church should safeguard ourselves so that we do not get plague – as a pattern
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should receive the grace of God and should be as those who go to any place that God sends us without any doubt coming within us, to do the works of God.
But today the facts that we are going to meditate upon is Numbers 8: 17 – 26 For all the firstborn among the children of Israel are Mine, both man and beast; on the day that I struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them to Myself.
I have taken the Levites instead of all the firstborn of the children of Israel.
And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the work for the children of Israel in the tabernacle of meeting, and to make atonement for the children of Israel, that there be no plague among the children of Israel when the children of Israel come near the sanctuary.”
Thus, Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the children of Israel did to the Levites; according to all that the Lord commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so the children of Israel did to them.
And the Levites purified themselves and washed their clothes; then Aaron presented them like a wave offering before the Lord, and Aaron made atonement for them to cleanse them.
After that the Levites went in to do their work in the tabernacle of meeting before Aaron and his sons; as the Lord commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they did to them.
Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
“This is what pertains to the Levites: From twenty-five years old and above one may enter to perform service in the work of the tabernacle of meeting;
and at the age of fifty years they must cease performing this work, and shall work no more.
They may minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of meeting, to attend to needs, but they themselves shall do no work. Thus, you shall do to the Levites regarding their duties.”
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, for all the firstborn among the children of Israel, both man and beast are God’s; and the explanation regarding this we meditated few days back. That is, the first born who is Christ, is making us as first born by his blood. Regarding that, Colossians 1: 12 – 20 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.
He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell,
and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.
When we meditate upon these verses, Christ is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created. Also, all that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead. So that all the fullness should dwell within him and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.
Also, regarding him being the first-born Proverbs 8: 22 – 36 “The Lord possessed me at the beginning of His way, Before His works of old.
I have been established from everlasting, From the beginning, before there was ever an earth.
When there were no depths I was brought forth, When there were no fountains abounding with water.
Before the mountains were settled, Before the hills, I was brought forth;
While as yet He had not made the earth or the fields, Or the primal dust of the world.
When He prepared the heavens, I was there, When He drew a circle on the face of the deep,
When He established the clouds above, When He strengthened the fountains of the deep,
When He assigned to the sea its limit, So that the waters would not transgress His command, When He marked out the foundations of the earth,
Then I was beside Him as a master craftsman; And I was daily His delight, Rejoicing always before Him,
Rejoicing in His inhabited world, And my delight was with the sons of men.
“Now therefore, listen to me, my children, For blessed are those who keep my ways.
Hear instruction and be wise, And do not disdain it.
Blessed is the man who listens to me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at the posts of my doors.
For whoever finds me finds life, And obtains favor from the Lord;
But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; All those who hate me love death.”
When we meditate upon this it manifests that only he is the first born. Also, John 1: 1 – 5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
He was in the beginning with God.
All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
The facts regarding this is He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him and without Him nothing was made that was made and this explains and show this clearly. In this manner, our Lord Jesus Christ, by his blood made peace for us and to reconcile us with him, that was pleasing for him. Therefore, my dear people it is manifested that he is making us like him by the new heaven, and the new earth as the first born.
The pattern that shows us that our Lord Jesus Christ is the first born is that instead of all the first born of the Israelites God took the Levites from the children of Israel, on the day that he struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt he separated them and took them. Also, he is saying that he has given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the work for the children of Israel in the tabernacle of meeting, and to make atonement for the children of Israel, that there be no plague among the children of Israel when the children of Israel come near the sanctuary.
This is showing us as a pattern that our Lord Jesus is in us as a tabernacle and we can offer supplication directly to him and if we keep a connection directly to Christ no plague will touch us, and he is showing this as a pattern. Regarding this, Psalms 91: 1 – 11 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”
Surely, He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.
He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day,
Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked.
Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place,
No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.
These verses clearly explain the above-mentioned portions. But according to the law of God it is written that the Levites went in to do the work of the Lord. Also, regarding the Levites the law of the Lord is that from twenty-five years old and above one may enter to perform service in the work of the tabernacle of meeting; but those above the age of fifty years they must cease performing this work, and should leave the work and they may minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of meeting, to attend to needs, but they themselves shall do no work.
In this manner, with patterns God gives us his law. Let us all submit ourselves to this law.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
