“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 107: 13 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

We, the bride, the church should not rebel against the word of God or despise it.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, when we, the bride, the church worship God everyday in the presence of the Lord in the evenings, then God will shower the dew, which are his teachings in our soul and he gives us the bread, which is the Manna of God and we meditated regarding this.

But today what we will meditate upon is Numbers 11: 10 – 20 Then Moses heard the people weeping throughout their families, everyone at the door of his tent; and the anger of the Lord was greatly aroused; Moses also was displeased.

So, Moses said to the Lord, “Why have You afflicted Your servant? And why have I not found favour in Your sight, that You have laid the burden of all these people on me?

Did I conceive all these people? Did I beget them, that You should say to me, ‘Carry them in your bosom, as a guardian carries a nursing child,’ to the land which You swore to their fathers?

Where am I to get meat to give to all these people? For they weep all over me, saying, ‘Give us meat, that we may eat.’

I am not able to bear all these people alone, because the burden is too heavy for me.

If You treat me like this, please kill me here and now—if I have found favour in Your sight—and do not let me see my wretchedness!”

So, the Lord said to Moses: “Gather to Me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and officers over them; bring them to the tabernacle of meeting, that they may stand there with you.

Then I will come down and talk with you there. I will take of the Spirit that is upon you and will put the same upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you may not bear it yourself alone.

Then you shall say to the people, ‘Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow, and you shall eat meat; for you have wept in the hearing of the Lord, saying, “Who will give us meat to eat? For it was well with us in Egypt.” Therefore, the Lord will give you meat, and you shall eat.

You shall eat, not one day, nor two days, nor five days, nor ten days, nor twenty days,

but for a whole month, until it comes out of your nostrils and becomes loathsome to you, because you have despised the Lord who is among you, and have wept before Him, saying, “Why did we ever come up out of Egypt?”

What the above-mentioned words are is that when the children of Israel started and came from Egypt even though God fed them every day with manna and protected them and led them and came, they are crying that they did not get meat to eat. Moses heard this. The anger of God was aroused. It was evil in the sight of Moses.

So, Moses said to the Lord, “Why have You afflicted Your servant that You have laid the burden of all these people on me? And why have I not found favour in Your sight? Also, what Moses said is that he is saying all the sadness that he has in his soul. That is, did I conceive them, that You should say to me, ‘Carry them in your bosom, as a guardian carries a nursing child,’ to the land which You swore to their fathers? Did I beget all these people?

And Moses asked God that where am I to get meat to give to all these people? I am not able to bear all these people alone, because the burden is too heavy for me and he told his sadness to the Lord. When he pleads that please kill me and do not let me see my wretchedness, God tells Moses gather to Me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and officers over them; bring them to the tabernacle of meeting, that they may stand there with you.

That is, so that Moses alone does not bear the burden of the people so that they also bear that burden God is saying that he will put his Spirit upon them. Then the Lord tells Moses consecrate the people for tomorrow; and to tell that for you have wept in the hearing of the Lord, saying, “Who will give us meat to eat? For it was well with us in Egypt.” Therefore, the Lord will give you meat, and you shall eat. You shall eat, not one day, nor two days, nor five days, nor ten days, nor twenty days, but for a whole month, until it comes out of your nostrils and becomes loathsome to you. This is because you have despised the Lord who is among you, and have wept before Him, saying, “Why did we ever come up out of Egypt?”

When we meditate upon this, we can know that God is going to judge the children of Israel harshly. This is because they despised the Lord who is within you and the thing that they said why did we ever come up out of Egypt? Words so that God is greatly angered we see that it comes out from your mouth. Therefore, the word of God in Psalms 107: 10 – 12 Those who sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, bound in affliction and irons—

Because they rebelled against the words of God, and despised the counsel of the Most High,

Therefore, He brought down their heart with labour; They fell down, and there was none to help.

When we meditate upon these words, when God is feeding us with his words, by holding any reason we must not complain against God nor should we not despise him and all of us must realize this.

In this manner, in our lives if we receive a realization that they are any mistakes, now itself let us confess our sins, iniquities, transgressions and these and let us submit ourselves. Then God will deliver us from troubles, and he will save us.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
