“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Revelation 21: 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

We, the bride, the church in the journey of faith should not fear regarding the wicked people.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church by our faith, we can possess the land of Canaan, which is the kingdom of heaven. But among those who went to spy Canaan only two people gave good news. The others spread bad news. All the congregation of Israel who heard this lifted up their voices and were crying. Also, we meditated that they were murmuring against Moses and Aaron.

But today what are we meditating is that Numbers 14: 1- 12 So all the congregation lifted up their voices and cried, and the people wept that night.

And all the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them, “If only we had died in the land of Egypt! Or if only we had died in this wilderness!

Why has the Lord brought us to this land to fall by the sword, that our wives and children should become victims? Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?”

So they said to one another, “Let us select a leader and return to Egypt.”

Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel.

But Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes;

and they spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying: “The land we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land.

If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, ‘a land which flows with milk and honey.’

Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them.”

And all the congregation said to stone them with stones. Now the glory of the Lord appeared in the tabernacle of meeting before all the children of Israel.

Then the Lord said to Moses: “How long will these people reject Me? And how long will they not believe Me, with all the signs which I have performed among them?

I will strike them with the pestilence and disinherit them, and I will make of you a nation greater and mightier than they.”

That is, “If only we had died in the land of Egypt it would have been good. Why has the Lord brought us to this land to fall by the sword, that our wives and children should become victims? Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?” So, they said to one another, “Let us select a leader and return to Egypt.”

In this manner, many among us in the journey of faith when difficulties, pressures, pain, sorrow, tribulations, trials come, we slip, and we speak anything against God. If we speak in this manner, we are rebelling against God. But when the congregation of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron, then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel.

Then among those who had spied out the land Joshua and Caleb tore their clothes; and they spoke to all saying: “The land we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land. If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give us that land which flows with milk and honey. If the Lord has to delight in us we must do his will and we must delight in his laws, commandments, statues on all these things.

Joshua and Caleb told the congregation only do not rebel against the Lord. You do not have to fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. When they said in this manner, the congregation of Israel said to stone them with stones and the glory of the Lord appeared in the tabernacle of meeting before all the children of Israel.

Then the Lord said “How long will these people reject Me? And how long will they not believe Me, with all the signs which I have performed among them? I will strike them with the pestilence and disinherit them, and I will make of you a nation greater and mightier than they.”

My dear people, only if we believe God through Christ, we can become his inheritance. But if we do not believe, he will disinherit us from his inheritance. Therefore, we can read what is written that man shall live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord. The fact regarding this is that Deuteronomy 8: 1 – 3 “Every commandment which I command you today you must be careful to observe, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers.

And you shall remember that the Lord your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.

So, He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.

The above-mentioned verses explain this. To make us have a portion in his inheritance he humbles us, allows us to hunger and he is saying that man shall not live by bread alone; but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord. Also, Psalms 27: 11 – 14 Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies.

Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries; for false witnesses have risen against me, and such as breathe out violence.

I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!

According to the above-mentioned verses, by faith we must wait on the Lord and we must be as those who possess the goodness in the land of the living. Regarding that, in Hebrews 10: 35 – 39 Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.

For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:

“For yet a little while, and He who is coming will come and will not tarry.

Now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, my soul has no pleasure in him.”

But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.

These verses, so that we do not fear, and we must not cast away our confidence, which has great reward. But the congregation of Israel, because they saw the sons of Anak, the giants there they feared and cried with a loud voice. But if we are redeemed through Christ fear will come away from us. Therefore, the word of God in Jeremiah 42: 11, 12 Do not be afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom you are afraid; do not be afraid of him,’ says the Lord, ‘for I am with you, to save you and deliver you from his hand.

And I will show you mercy, that he may have mercy on you and cause you to return to your own land.’

If we will meditate upon these verses, the king of Babylon signifies the world, which are the giants. Therefore, what God is showing us as a pattern is that he is delivering us each one of us from this evil spirit, saving us and our own land, Canaan means he is making us possess the life of Christ, which is working within us, which is the eternal life.

In this manner, if we will receive eternal life Isaiah 65: 18, 19 But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; For behold, I create Jerusalem as a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in My people; The voice of weeping shall no longer be heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

God will bless us according to these verses. In this manner, let us not be afraid and be with faith completely in the Lord and inherit goodness. Let us submit ourselves.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
