“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Isaiah 66: 18 For I know their works and their thoughts. It shall be that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come and see My glory.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
If we, the bride, the church does not have faith in God completely then he strikes us with pestilence.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that if we, the bride, the church in our journey of faith do not fear the wicked people for anything then with faith we can possess Canaan, where milk and honey flows, which is Christ, the eternal life.
But next the thing what we are going to meditate upon is Numbers 14: 12 – 16 I will strike them with the pestilence and disinherit them, and I will make of you a nation greater and mightier than they.”
And Moses said to the Lord: “Then the Egyptians will hear it, for by Your might You brought these people up from among them,
and they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that You, Lord, are among these people; that You, Lord, are seen face to face and Your cloud stands above them, and You go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night.
Now if You kill these people as one man, then the nations which have heard of Your fame will speak, saying,
‘Because the Lord was not able to bring this people to the land which He swore to give them, therefore He killed them in the wilderness.’
The above-mentioned fact is that though the Lord showed signs in front of the children of Israel, those who do not believe him the Lord struck them with pestilence and he is saying that he will disinherit them from his inheritance. From this what we must know is that even if pestilence comes in our land, or if it comes on us it is because we are not believing God the way we must believe him, he is sending that disease into us.
But to Moses, who did God’s will and believed him what the Lord said is that those who do not believe I will strike them with the pestilence, and I will make of you a nation greater and mightier than they. As soon as Moses heard this, he said to the Lord, the Egyptians will hear it, for by your might You brought these people up from among them, They have heard that You, Lord, are among these people; that You, Lord, are seen face to face and Your cloud stands above them, and You go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night and they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land. Now if You kill these people as one man, then the nations which have heard of Your fame will speak, saying, ‘Because the Lord was not able to bring this people to the land which He swore to give them, therefore He killed them in the wilderness.’
He said in this manner and according to what is said in Numbers 14: 17 – 20 he asks forgiveness and pleads to the Lord. And now, I pray, let the power of my Lord be great, just as You have spoken, saying,
‘The Lord is longsuffering and abundant in mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but He by no means clears the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation.’
Pardon the iniquity of this people, I pray, according to the greatness of Your mercy, just as You have forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.”
Then the Lord said: “I have pardoned, according to your word;
Then, because Moses was faithful in all of God’s house, the Lord heard his request and says I have pardoned, according to your word. In this manner, the Lord forgave the iniquity of the children of Israel and says that but truly, as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord.
My dear people, in these days for God to forgive the iniquity that we are doing, our Lord Jesus Christ is interceding for us and God gives us the glory that he gave Christ, and he makes us dwell with him. Regarding this, he is saying that all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord. This is what is said in John 17: 22 – 24 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:
I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
“Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
Also, what the Lord told Moses he is fulfilling in Christ. This is because due to the evil that came upon Moses due to Massah, he was not able to enter Canaan. But by Christ, the Lord is delivering us from these the world, flesh and devil.
Therefore, Isaiah 60: 21, 22 Also your people shall all be righteous; they shall inherit the land forever, the branch of My planting, the work of My hands, that I may be glorified.
A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation. I, the Lord, will hasten it in its time.”
In this manner, by Christ, the Lord is telling he will hasten it in its time. My dear people, let us confess the mistakes that came in our faith and let us submit ourselves to receive the inheritance of the Lord.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
