“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Psalms 106: 47 Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the Gentiles, to give thanks to Your holy name, to triumph in Your praise.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
We, the bride, the church should safeguard our soul so that it never perishes.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that only if we, the bride, the church follow God with integrity we can possess the promise that was given to us by our forefathers. Also, we meditated regarding the way Caleb possessed them.
Next, what we will meditate upon is Numbers 14: 25 – 34 Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites dwell in the valley; tomorrow turn and move out into the wilderness by the Way of the Red Sea.”
And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,
“How long shall I bear with this evil congregation who complain against Me? I have heard the complaints which the children of Israel make against Me.
Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the Lord, ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you:
The carcasses of you who have complained against Me shall fall in this wilderness, all of you who were numbered, according to your entire number, from twenty years old and above.
Except for Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun, you shall by no means enter the land which I swore I would make you dwell in.
But your little ones, whom you said would be victims, I will bring in, and they shall know the land which you have despised.
But as for you, your carcasses shall fall in this wilderness.
And your sons shall be shepherds in the wilderness forty years, and bear the brunt of your infidelity, until your carcasses are consumed in the wilderness.
According to the number of the days in which you spied out the land, forty days, for each day you shall bear your guilt one year, namely forty years, and you shall know My rejection.
When we meditate upon this, in Canaan because the Amalekites and the Canaanites dwelt in the valley, the Lord told Moses tomorrow turn and move out into the wilderness by the way of the Red Sea. The reason God is saying that is because he thought that they will see such kind of nations, get scared and in the journey will become weary and so we see that he is saying this.
Also, the Lord told Moses I have heard the complaints which the children of Israel make against Me. How long shall I bear with this evil congregation who complain against Me? If we also murmur against God, like them we are also an evil congregation says the Lord. Also, what the Lord says regarding them is that just as they have spoken regarding the Lord, so I will do: and their carcasses shall fall on the way and everyone from twenty years old and above will be numbered, according to your entire number, as those numbered as those who murmured against the Lord and he is saying that all their carcasses will fall.
My dear people, if we murmur against the Lord no one can escape, and he is showing this as a pattern. When we meditate upon the verses in the Bible among those who went to spy the land only those who believed will be able to enter says the Lord. Also, because the children of Israel murmured none of them will enter the land and will be made victims and your children, whom I said will be made victims, I will make them enter and they shall know the land which you have despised, and God is saying this regarding us.
But the carcasses of those who despised the Lord shall fall in the wilderness and until their carcasses are consumed in the wilderness, the children shall roam around and shall bear the brunt of your infidelity. My dear people, when we meditate regarding this the iniquity that we have done, everywhere where we have despised the word of God for that, our soul has to fall down in the life of faith, and he does not allow our children to attain peace and will have to roam around and bear the iniquity that we have done says the Lord.
But if we will take a true covenant with Christ for forty years, for every year as each day the blood of Christ will redeem and take us from sin, death, and iniquity. In this manner, if we are redeemed by the blood of Christ in our life, we will be able to realize the change that has come to the covenant of God. Also, regarding the punishment that comes for the iniquity of the children of Israel God is showing as a pattern in Ezekiel 4: 1 – 17 “You also, son of man, take a clay tablet and lay it before you, and portray on it a city, Jerusalem.
Lay siege against it, build a siege wall against it, and heap up a mound against it; set camps against it also, and place battering rams against it all around.
Moreover, take for yourself an iron plate, and set it as an iron wall between you and the city. Set your face against it, and it shall be besieged, and you shall lay siege against it. This will be a sign to the house of Israel.
“Lie also on your left side and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it. According to the number of the days that you lie on it, you shall bear their iniquity.
For I have laid on you the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days; so, you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
And when you have completed them, lie again on your right side; then you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days. I have laid on you a day for each year.
“Therefore, you shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem; your arm shall be uncovered, and you shall prophesy against it.
And surely, I will restrain you so that you cannot turn from one side to another till you have ended the days of your siege.
“Also take for yourself wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet, and spelt; put them into one vessel, and make bread of them for yourself. During the number of days that you lie on your side, three hundred and ninety days, you shall eat it.
And your food which you eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day; from time to time you shall eat it.
You shall also drink water by measure, one-sixth of a hin; from time to time you shall drink.
And you shall eat it as barley cakes; and bake it using fuel of human waste in their sight.”
Then the Lord said, “So shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, where I will drive them.”
So, I said, “Ah, Lord God! Indeed, I have never defiled myself from my youth till now; I have never eaten what died of itself or was torn by beasts, nor has abominable flesh ever come into my mouth.”
Then He said to me, “See, I am giving you cow dung instead of human waste, and you shall prepare your bread over it.”
Moreover, He said to me, “Son of man, surely I will cut off the supply of bread in Jerusalem; they shall eat bread by weight and with anxiety, and shall drink water by measure and with dread,
that they may lack bread and water, and be dismayed with one another, and waste away because of their iniquity.
In these verses, God is explaining to Ezekiel with a pattern regarding the punishment from God for our iniquity. Therefore, my dear people who are reading and meditating upon this, any one among us should not carelessly murmur regarding the words of God to the children of God. If we murmur in this manner we are murmuring against God. Therefore, God with anger not only makes our soul perish but also submits our children to the devil. He does not forget this easily. This is because we have seen his signs and glory and he consider us doing it intentionally and he punishes us greatly.
But if our soul breaks in the way that it should break, crushes and if God tests and knows us that again those evil thoughts will not come in our soul then we will be able to see the change in the covenant that we take with him.
In this manner, if anyone among us is being punished let us submit in the manner mentioned above.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
