“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Hebrews 12: 14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

If we, the bride, the church thinks to see God without holiness, then God will submit us in the hands of the enemy so that we fall backwards.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we, the bride, the church in our journey of faith, we must safeguard our soul so that it does not get destroyed by the deeds of the Gentiles. This is because among the people who did not believe God the anger of the Lord occurred. God destroyed them with plague. But among those who spied the land only those who gave good report about God were alive. When Moses told this news to all the children of Israel, the people mourned greatly. And they rose early in the morning and went up to the top of the mountain, saying, “Here we are, and we will go up to the place which the Lord has promised, for we have sinned!” But Moses said, “Now why do you transgress the command of the Lord? For this will not succeed.

When we meditate upon this, everyone cannot climb to the top of the mountain. The reason is that when we say top of the mountain it shows the most holiness. The Most Holy one is our Lord Jesus Christ.  But God in that place shows Moses as a pattern and calls him to the top of Mount Sinai and is showing us Christ as a pattern.

Also, Moses is telling the children of Israel do not go up, lest you be defeated by your enemies, for the Lord is not among you. This is because without becoming holy we cannot see God and he is showing this as a pattern and Moses is saying in this manner. The reason is that without holiness if we think of seeing God, we will be defeated in front of our enemies.

That is, without submitting their soul completely in their lives if they are thinking of living with God, in their midst God is coming with anger. That is, Isaiah 28: 8 – 22 For all tables are full of vomit and filth; No place is clean.

“Whom will he teach knowledge? and whom will he make to understand the message? Those just weaned from milk? Those just drawn from the breasts?

For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little.”

For with stammering lips and another tongue he will speak to this people,

To whom He said, “This is the rest with which you may cause the weary to rest,” and, “This is the refreshing”; yet they would not hear.

But the word of the Lord was to them, “Precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little,” That they might go and fall backward, and be broken and snared and caught.

Therefore, hear the word of the Lord, you scornful men, who rule this people who are in Jerusalem,

Because you have said, “We have made a covenant with death, and with Sheol we are in agreement. When the overflowing scourge passes through, it will not come to us, for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood we have hidden ourselves.”

Therefore, thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; whoever believes will not act hastily.

Also I will make justice the measuring line, and righteousness the plummet; The hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters will overflow the hiding place.

Your covenant with death will be annulled, and your agreement with Sheol will not stand; when the overflowing scourge passes through, then you will be trampled down by it.

As often as it goes out it will take you; for morning by morning it will pass over, and by day and by night; It will be a terror just to understand the report.”

For the bed is too short to stretch out on, and the covering so narrow that one cannot wrap himself in it.

For the Lord will rise up as at Mount Perazim, he will be angry as in the Valley of Gibeon— that He may do His work, His awesome work, and bring to pass His act, His unusual act.

Now therefore, do not be mockers, lest your bonds be made strong; For I have heard from the Lord God of hosts, a destruction determined even upon the whole earth.

Also, Moses is telling the children of Israel that do not go up, lest you be defeated by your enemies, for the Lord is not among you. When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses as an example many people will believe Jesus Christ as God. But they will not follow the truthful word that he has spoken. That is, in their mind they will hold on to sinful or vain things and will take covenant with Christ and will think within themselves that hereafter whatever tribulation may come nothing will affect us and will serve God. But the covenant that they have taken will not stand.

But the word of the Lord says that Now therefore, do not be mockers, lest your bonds be made strong; For I have heard from the Lord God of hosts, a destruction determined even upon the whole earth. Give ear and hear my voice, listen and hear my speech says the Lord.

My dear people, if we will walk according to what our Lord tells God will not forsake us. Not only that we will be able to see God. We will be able to enter into the rest. Otherwise, today many people think that they are speaking to God and are getting cheated. But they do not realize that they are speaking with mockery to God and they are thinking that they are seeing God.

That is what, in Numbers 14: 42 – 45 Do not go up, lest you be defeated by your enemies, for the Lord is not among you.

For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and you shall fall by the sword; because you have turned away from the Lord, the Lord will not be with you.”

But they presumed to go up to the mountaintop. Nevertheless, neither the ark of the covenant of the Lord nor Moses departed from the camp.

Then the Amalekites and the Canaanites who dwelt in that mountain came down and attacked them, and drove them back as far as Hormah.

What these verses are saying is that only if we live a holy life, we can receive the anointing of the Holy Spirit and our life of faith can be victorious. Otherwise according to the above-mentioned verses God will not be with us. Because the Lord is not with us, if we decide to go to the top of the mountain (Most Holy place) the Amalekites and Canaanites will come down from that mountain and will destroy them and in the life of faith will make us fall backwards.

In order that we do not become like this let us listen to the word of the Lord and let us submit according to this.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
