“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Romans 8: 23, 24 Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.
For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees?
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
Our soul, the bride, the church should be united along with the first fruit, Christ by the resurrection
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we, the bride, the church in our everyday life should receive the grace in our soul and we should be growing continuously and those who are attaining growth in this manner should be as those who offer the sacrifices of the Lord each and every day according to the way the Lord desires and we meditated regarding this.
Also, today the facts that we are going to meditate upon are Numbers 15: 13 – 21 All who are native-born shall do these things in this manner, in presenting an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord.
And if a stranger dwells with you, or whoever is among you throughout your generations, and would present an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord, just as you do, so shall he do.
One ordinance shall be for you of the assembly and for the stranger who dwells with you, an ordinance forever throughout your generations; as you are, so shall the stranger be before the Lord.
One law and one custom shall be for you and for the stranger who dwells with you.’”
Again the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you come into the land to which I bring you,
then it will be, when you eat of the bread of the land, that you shall offer up a heave offering to the Lord.
You shall offer up a cake of the first of your ground meal as a heave offering; as a heave offering of the threshing floor, so shall you offer it up.
Of the first of your ground meal you shall give to the Lord a heave offering throughout your generations.
In these verses all who are native-born, just like what we meditated in the previous part shall offer themselves as an offering of sweet aroma to the Lord. That is, when we say those who are native-born, we must know that they are those who are born in the family of those who have inherited redemption. But a stranger means, with any reason those who come and stay with us. Such kind of people and whoever is among you throughout your generations, should present an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord, in the same above-mentioned manner.
Also, for the stranger and for those who have the experience of being part of the church there should be one ordinance, and this should be an ordinance forever throughout your generations. That is, he is saying that the stranger should also be like us in front of the Lord. Also, God is telling that law and custom should be the same for everyone.
Also, what the Lord spoke to Moses is that speak to the children of Israel, to those who are redeemed and say to them: ‘When you come into the land to which I bring you, then it will be, when you eat of the bread of the land, that you shall offer up a heave offering to the Lord. That is, you shall offer up a cake of the first of your ground meal as a heave offering; as a heave offering of the threshing floor, so shall you offer it up.
What this signifies is that the land that they are going to is the land of Canaan. This land is the land that the Lord had promised. This is manifested as the body of Christ, the church. This is because to make the church worship God together only, the Lord redeems them from the bondage of Egypt and brings them. That is, God redeems us from the bondage of sin and to worship God in spirit and in truth he brings and unites us, and that place is the land of Canaan. That is the body of Christ, the church. It is in this place that the food of the land is being eaten. That food is the heavenly manna. This manna is ground and cooked as cakes and they eat it and offer it in the presence of the Lord.
But, behind this the growth that is present what it shows is that he is telling to offer up a cake of the first of your ground meal. This cake signifies Christ as the first fruit, and this is shown as a pattern. What this signifies is that our Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead and became the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. That is, in 1 Corinthians 15: 20 – 23 But now Christ is risen from the dead and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead.
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.
But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming.
What this signifies is that each one in his own order will be made alive. The firstfruit is Christ. Then in his coming, those who are his will be made alive. What this is saying is that the coming of the Lord’s presence when we submit our soul to the Lord he comes into our soul. Therefore, my dear people just like Christ was made alive as the firstfruits, we also along with Him will be made alive as firstfruit and we must offer the soul which was made alive to the Lord.
Just as a heave offering of the threshing floor, so shall you offer it up. From this, the cake is a pattern of the firstfruit resurrected Christ. It is sweet. In this manner, he blesses our life as a sweet life as his firstfruit.
In this manner, in the image of his resurrection we are united and to change our life as a sweet life let us submit ourselves.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
