“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Romans 8: 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
We, the bride, the church should never be the reason for causing separation within the church according to fleshly thoughts.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we, the bride, the church should never do presumptuous sins and in spite of knowing the laws of the Lord if we do not obey them intentionally then it is an iniquity and that iniquity will be kept upon by God on each person and we meditated that it will not be forgiven.
Also, the facts that we are going to meditate upon next are Numbers 16: 1 – 10 Now Korah the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, with Dathan and Abiram the sons of Eliab, and On the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men;
and they rose up before Moses with some of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty leaders of the congregation, representatives of the congregation, men of renown.
They gathered together against Moses and Aaron, and said to them, “You take too much upon yourselves, for all the congregation is holy, every one of them, and the Lord is among them. Why then do you exalt yourselves above the assembly of the Lord?”
So, when Moses heard it, he fell on his face;
and he spoke to Korah and all his company, saying, “Tomorrow morning the Lord will show who is His and who is holy, and will cause him to come near to Him. That one whom He chooses He will cause to come near to Him.
Do this: Take censers, Korah and all your company;
put fire in them and put incense in them before the Lord tomorrow, and it shall be that the man whom the Lord chooses is the holy one. You take too much upon yourselves, you sons of Levi!”
Then Moses said to Korah, “Hear now, you sons of Levi:
Is it a small thing to you that the God of Israel has separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to Himself, to do the work of the tabernacle of the Lord, and to stand before the congregation to serve them;
and that He has brought you near to Himself, you and all your brethren, the sons of Levi, with you? And are you seeking the priesthood also?
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, Korah the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, with Dathan and Abiram the sons of Eliab, and On the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men; and they rose up before Moses with some of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty leaders of the congregation, representatives of the congregation, men of renown and they gathered together and asked them, “You take too much upon yourselves, for all the congregation is holy, every one of them, and the Lord is among them. Why then do you exalt yourselves above the assembly of the Lord?”
When the congregation of Korah asked in this manner, Moses fell on his face in the presence of the Lord. The reason why they asked in this manner is because using them that is Moses, Aaron God had been doing many things, so they were jealous of them and asked this way. But Moses told them tomorrow the Lord will show who is His and who is holy and will cause him to come near to Him. And he said that one whom He chooses He will cause to come near to Him. That is, God will handover truthful things to those who are truthful and this each one of us must know.
Regarding that the verse is Luke 16: 10 – 15 He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.
Therefore, if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?
“No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”
Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him.
And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.
If we meditate upon the above verses what is esteemed highly among men is an abomination in the sight of God. In this manner, the congregation of Korah exalted themselves. Therefore, we are able to know that they had pride, jealousy, anger, revenge and self-praise. Regarding that, the word of God in 1 Corinthians 3: 3 for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses among those who are carnal only jealousy, pride, evil thinking such kind of wicked deeds will be there. In this manner, these deeds were present among the congregation of Korah. Therefore, they were an abomination to the Lord. Because many among us are in this manner we are an abomination before God.
Also, what Moses is saying is that Korah and all your company; take censers and put fire in them and put incense in them. And it shall be that the man whom the Lord chooses is the holy one. You take too much upon yourselves, you sons of Levi!” Then Moses said to Korah, Is it a small thing to you that the God of Israel has separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to Himself, to do the work of the tabernacle of the Lord, and to stand before the congregation to serve them; and that He has brought you near to Himself, you and all your brethren, the sons of Levi, with you? He said are you seeking the priesthood also?
My dear people, when we bring the above-mentioned portions to our thoughts, we see that there is a separation coming in the church. This separation is brought by whom means Korah. This Korah, belonged to the tribe of Levi. He is gathering two hundred and fifty people among the children of Israel. The reason for this is the fleshly thoughts that was in them. That is why, it is written that flesh and spirit will fight against each other. Regarding this, in Galatians 5: 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.
When we read this those who are carnal cannot be pleasing to God. They cannot enter the kingdom of God. Regarding this, God willing we will meditate tomorrow.
Therefore, my dear people, let no one among us be involved in fleshly deeds and cause separation in the church and let us submit ourselves to safeguard ourselves.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
