“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Zechariah 2: 7, 8 “Up, Zion! Escape, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon.”
For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
If we, the bride, the church leave and move away from Babylon, which is the church of the world, God will stop the plague.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated how we, the bride, the church our soul, which is the censer is being cleansed by God with his fire and made holy and we meditated regarding how he is destroying the congregation of the evil deeds.
But today what we are meditating is that Numbers 16: 39 – 50 So Eleazar the priest took the bronze censers, which those who were burned up had presented, and they were hammered out as a covering on the altar,
to be a memorial to the children of Israel that no outsider, who is not a descendant of Aaron, should come near to offer incense before the Lord, that he might not become like Korah and his companions, just as the Lord had said to him through Moses.
On the next day, all the congregation of the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, saying, “You have killed the people of the Lord.”
Now it happened, when the congregation had gathered against Moses and Aaron, that they turned toward the tabernacle of meeting; and suddenly the cloud covered it, and the glory of the Lord appeared.
Then Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of meeting.
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
“Get away from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.” And they fell on their faces.
So, Moses said to Aaron, “Take a censer and put fire in it from the altar, put incense on it, and take it quickly to the congregation and make atonement for them; for wrath has gone out from the Lord. The plague has begun.”
Then Aaron took it as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the assembly; and already the plague had begun among the people. So, he put in the incense and made atonement for the people.
And he stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped.
Now those who died in the plague were fourteen thousand seven hundred, besides those who died in the Korah incident.
So, Aaron returned to Moses at the door of the tabernacle of meeting, for the plague had stopped.
The priest, Eleazar took the bronze censers, which those who were burned up had presented, and they were hammered out as a covering on the altar. The reason for that is that to be a memorial to the children of Israel that no outsider, who is not a descendant of Aaron, should come near to offer incense before the Lord, that he might not become like Korah and his companions, he did as mentioned above.
On the next day, all the congregation of the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, saying, “You have killed the people of the Lord.” Saying this when they stood at the tabernacle of meeting and saw; and suddenly the cloud covered it, and the glory of the Lord appeared. Regarding this, what God revealed in the island of Patmos in Revelation 8: 1 – 13 When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets.
Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand.
Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake.
So, the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.
Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood.
And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water.
The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.
Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night.
And I looked, and I heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!”
When we meditate upon these facts, we can understand that God is making us holy. In this manner, my dear people we must submit ourselves for God to make us holy. All the wicked character that is in us should be removed from us by God. As a sign for this, God is making the children of Israel as a sign for us.
Then when the people murmured Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of meeting. And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Get away from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.” When he said this, they fell on their faces for the children of Israel. And Moses said to Aaron, “Take a censer and put fire in it from the altar, put incense on it, and take it quickly to the congregation and he is telling them to make atonement for them. He said that for wrath has gone out from the Lord. The plague has begun.
What this signifies is that it is the law of the Lord that the priest should make atonement of sin for the sin of the people. Therefore, God is telling Aaron to bring a bull, lamb and goat without blemish to the presence of the Lord. For that sacrifice only our Lord Jesus Christ was a sacrifice without blemish and is a priest forever.
Then Aaron took it as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the assembly; and already the plague had begun among the people. So, he put in the incense and made atonement for the people. And he stood between the dead and the living; so, the plague was stopped. Now those who died in the plague were fourteen thousand seven hundred, besides those who died in the Korah incident. So, Aaron returned to Moses at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.
When we meditate on the above-mentioned verses, God is telling regarding the church that is rising in our soul. That is, the body of Christ, which is the church, and the church of Babylon are rising, and God is showing this as a pattern. God is telling us to come out of Babylon. Regarding this, in Revelation 18: 4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.
We must meditate upon this and we must not get caught in the plagues that occur to her and he is telling us to come out of her. That is what, he said get away from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment. Also, due to the wicked deeds that rise up in our soul, our soul dies. Therefore, for the atonement of sin we see that Moses sends the priest Aaron. This is because due to the iniquity that they have done, plague entered into them. Therefore, when we do atonement for sin only by sacrifice, sin will be forgiven.
In this manner, Aaron took the censer, put fire in it from the altar, put incense on it and ran to the church and is doing the atonement of sin for the people. Then the plague was stopped. He went there and stood between the dead and the living. All these, the blood of our Lord Jesus delivers and saves us from such as sin and death.
In this manner, let us submit our soul to God and receive holiness.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
