“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Joel 3: 17 “So you shall know that I am the Lord your God, dwelling in Zion My holy mountain. Then Jerusalem shall be holy, and no aliens shall ever pass through her again.”

We, the bride, the church should receive the anointing of Christ and should serve the Lord.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that our Lord Jesus Christ safeguards our soul, the bride, the church so that it does not die. 

But today the portion of the Bible that we are meditating upon is Numbers 18: 1 – 8 Then the Lord said to Aaron: “You and your sons and your father’s house with you shall bear the iniquity related to the sanctuary, and you and your sons with you shall bear the iniquity associated with your priesthood. 

Also bring with you your brethren of the tribe of Levi, the tribe of your father, that they may be joined with you and serve you while you and your sons are with you before the tabernacle of witness. 

They shall attend to your needs and all the needs of the tabernacle; but they shall not come near the articles of the sanctuary and the altar, lest they die—they and you also. 

They shall be joined with you and attend to the needs of the tabernacle of meeting, for all the work of the tabernacle; but an outsider shall not come near you. 

And you shall attend to the duties of the sanctuary and the duties of the altar, that there may be no more wrath on the children of Israel. 

Behold, I Myself have taken your brethren the Levites from among the children of Israel; they are a gift to you, given by the Lord, to do the work of the tabernacle of meeting. 

Therefore, you and your sons with you shall attend to your priesthood for everything at the altar and behind the veil; and you shall serve. I give your priesthood to you as a gift for service, but the outsider who comes near shall be put to death.”

And the Lord spoke to Aaron: “Here, I Myself have also given you charge of My heave offerings, all the holy gifts of the children of Israel; I have given them as a portion to you and your sons, as an ordinance forever.

The Lord said to Aaron you and your sons and your father’s house with you shall bear the iniquity related to the sanctuary, and you and your sons with you shall bear the iniquity associated with your priesthood. Also, the Lord said to Aaron bring with you your brethren of the tribe of Levi, the tribe of your father, that they may be joined with you and serve you while you and your sons are with you before the tabernacle of witness says the Lord. But they shall attend to your needs and all the needs of the tabernacle; but you also shall not come near the articles of the sanctuary and the altar, lest you die. They shall be joined with you and attend to the needs of the tabernacle of meeting, for all the work of the tabernacle. In the work of the tabernacle an outsider shall not come. If you do not attend to the duties of the sanctuary and the duties of the altar properly Then God’s wrath will come upon the children of Israel. 

My dear people, tabernacle means the place of worship which is our inner body and God is showing this as a pattern. Every part of the body in it and in the tabernacle everything for worship all these things should be safe guarded in a proper way and should be kept holy and regarding this we meditated few days back. Therefore, the Levites who received the eligibility for this, he separated them from the children of Israel and has given them as a gift and he is saying this to us.

Also, the Lord is telling Aaron that you and your sons with you shall do everything at the altar and behind the veil; and you shall safeguard and serve the priesthood. But no outsider shall do that and the outsider who comes near to do in this manner shall be put to death. When we say outsider, it means those who have not accepted the Lord with the whole mind.

Regarding this, Deuteronomy 20: 16 – 18 “But of the cities of these peoples which the Lord your God gives you as an inheritance, you shall let nothing that breathes remain alive, 

but you shall utterly destroy them: the Hittite and the Amorite and the Canaanite and the Perizzite and the Hivite and the Jebusite, just as the Lord your God has commanded you, 

lest they teach you to do according to all their abominations which they have done for their gods, and you sin against the Lord your God.

According to the above-mentioned verses we must safeguard, and we must take care that our soul is not deceived. Also, Deuteronomy 32: 9 – 12 For the Lord’s portion is His people; Jacob is the place of His inheritance.

“He found him in a desert land and in the wasteland, a howling wilderness; He encircled him, He instructed him, He kept him as the apple of His eye.

As an eagle stirs up its nest, hovers over its young, spreading out its wings, taking them up, carrying them on its wings,

So, the Lord alone led him, and there was no foreign god with him.

My dear people, our soul should glorify only one God. Along with him there was no foreign God. Therefore, when we enter in the holy place, he is telling that an outsider should not come.  Also, what the Lord is telling Aaron is that I Myself have also given you charge of My heave offerings, all the holy gifts of the children of Israel; I have given them as a portion to you and your sons, as an ordinance forever.

My dear people, for God to do his ministry of priesthood he is calling those who have been anointed by Christ. Let us also listen to the voice of God and submit ourselves.
