“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Psalms 45: 13 The royal daughter is all glorious within the palace; Her clothing is woven with gold.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
For we, the bride, the church to enter into Canaan, we must safeguard our soul so that the enemy does not deceive it.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we, the bride, the church so that we are not cut off from Israel, the church we must safeguard ourselves carefully so that our inner man is not defiled. Only if we safeguard in this manner, the tabernacle of the Lord will be holy, and we meditated regarding this.
Also, next what we are meditating is that Numbers 20: 1 – 13 Then the children of Israel, the whole congregation, came into the Wilderness of Zin in the first month, and the people stayed in Kadesh; and Miriam died there and was buried there.
Now there was no water for the congregation; so they gathered together against Moses and Aaron.
And the people contended with Moses and spoke, saying: “If only we had died when our brethren died before the Lord!
Why have you brought up the assembly of the Lord into this wilderness, that we and our animals should die here?
And why have you made us come up out of Egypt, to bring us to this evil place? It is not a place of grain or figs or vines or pomegranates; nor is there any water to drink.”
So Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and they fell on their faces. And the glory of the Lord appeared to them.
Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
“Take the rod; you and your brother Aaron gather the congregation together. Speak to the rock before their eyes, and it will yield its water; thus you shall bring water for them out of the rock and give drink to the congregation and their animals.”
So Moses took the rod from before the Lord as He commanded him.
And Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock; and he said to them, “Hear now, you rebels! Must we bring water for you out of this rock?”
Then Moses lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank.
Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”
This was the water of Meribah, because the children of Israel contended with the Lord, and He was hallowed among them.
According to the above-mentioned verses, when we meditate upon them when the children of Israel, the whole congregation, came into the Wilderness of Zin in the first month, and the people stayed in Kadesh; Miriam died there and was buried there. But because there was no water there for the people they gathered together against Moses and Aaron. Because the children of Israel sinned against the Lord, many people are dying in the journey.
In this manner, due to the mistakes that they have done because they died, the children of Israel told Moses that because they did not get water, they said if only we had died when our brethren died it would have been good. Also, they said why have you brought up the assembly of the Lord into this wilderness, that we and our animals should die here?
My dear people, what is being shown here as a pattern is that if we are not saved, our soul is of animal character. Upon such people, they will not get the anointing filled with the living water, which is the word of God. That is, according to what we meditated in the past days for our sin we must do purification of the sin. Only then, we will be filled with the anointing of living water. If we do not do purification of sin in this manner, there is no use in us. Regarding them only, the children of Israel murmured that why have you made us come up out of Egypt, to bring us to this evil place? It is not a place of grain or figs or vines or pomegranates; nor is there any water to drink. If there is no salvation within us our soul, the land will be like mentioned above as a wilderness.
For those who murmur in this manner, Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and they fell on their faces. And the glory of the Lord appeared to them. That glory is Christ. What this signifies is that we come to know that in the midst of the children of Israel, Christ is manifested.
Also, the rod of Aaron that was kept in the presence of the Lord bloomed. We meditated regarding that few days back. That is the word of God, which is the glorious rod. God is giving this rod in the hands of Moses. Regarding that, the Lord is telling Moses take the rod; you and your brother Aaron gather the congregation together. Speak to the rock before their eyes, and it will yield its water; thus you shall bring water for them out of the rock and give drink to the congregation and their animals.
So Moses took the rod from before the Lord as He commanded him. And Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock; and he said to them, “Hear now, you rebels! Must we bring water for you out of this rock?” Then Moses lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank. Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.” This was the water of Meribah, because the children of Israel contended with the Lord, and He was hallowed among them.
My dear people, what the above-mentioned facts signify is that the glory that was seen there is the rock. The rock signifies Christ. The Lord told Moses and Aaron to look at the rock and speak and the reason he said that is if they speak Christ, the rock will also speak and if he speaks for the children of Israel to have comfort, peace, and joy from his soul the spring of living water (word of God) will flow and come. When the people drink that it will be possible for their soul to attain rest and for this, we see that the Lord told Moses and Aaron in that manner to look at the rock and speak.
But he beat the rock twice. It is written in Psalms that he spoke rashly with his lips. When he beat the rock in this manner, we read that the congregation and the animals drank. But Christ, the rock should be beaten only one. We must not beat him the second time by doing sin and if we do in this manner our life will be said as Meribah. That is, if God makes us holy by his word of God, even if we contend with him, that life will be said as Meribah. Therefore, contending and holiness cannot function in one soul and God is calling that as Meribah. Such people cannot enter Canaan.
Therefore, my dear people we must carefully safeguard our soul and let us submit ourselves to enter into Canaan.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
