“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Zephaniah 3: 12 I will leave in your midst a meek and humble people, and they shall trust in the name of the Lord.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
If we, the bride, the church does sin against the Lord, he is the one who condemns us when he judges us.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that our soul, the bride, the church should be very holy and should offer worship to the Lord with holiness. That is, he showed as a pattern the cleansing of Israel, the church and to explain and show how the Lord makes our soul holy, God made circumstances to come into Canaan through the way of the Red Sea and using Israel, the church he is destroying the Canaanite which means we, our soul should not give place for any stranger and this he is showing us clearly and we are able to read it.
My dear people, next what we are meditating is that Numbers 21: 5 – 9 And the people spoke against God and against Moses: “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and our soul loathes this worthless bread.”
So the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and many of the people of Israel died.
Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, “We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord that He take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.”
So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.
According to the above-mentioned verses, when the church crossed the Red Sea, the people became discouraged. Then the people spoke against God and against Moses: “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and our soul loathes this worthless bread.”
My dear people, in this manner however the Lord may protect and guide us, we also should not think of God as worthless. So, because the people of Israel considered God as worthless, the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people. Because they bit the people, many of the people of Israel died. Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, “We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and they asked him to pray for them so that the serpents will not bite them. So Moses prayed for the people.
Then what the Lord said to Moses is that “Make a fiery serpent and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.” So Moses made a bronze serpent and did as the Lord told him. If a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.
My dear people, when we meditate upon these words, we may think that Lord telling Moses to make the bronze serpent is for good and we may think so. But regarding the deeds of the Lord we will not be able to know quickly and easily. If we want to know them in depth, we must be in fellowship with Him and only if we attain the holiness that he desires we will be able to know. That is, to receive holiness the eyes of our mind should shine. Only if our eyes shine we can know the truth one by one.
Therefore, my dear people the truth will deliver us from these things - sin, curse, and iniquity. That is, the law of the Lord is it is written that idol worship should not be done. But God is telling to make a bronze serpent and if it is kept up on a pole, it is written that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.
If God is doing in this manner, if we must know what the reason for this is - if the people of Israel do sin against the Lord, then he Lord becomes angry and because we said why have you brought us out from Egypt so for their soul to be deceived and to keep them as a bondage in the hands of the enemy, the serpent should be made and kept on a pole and he is telling them to look at it and making them live and in this manner he is doing a miracle and showing them.
But because the eyes of the people did not open, they saw it and lived. This is because he is making them disobey the law of the Lord. In this manner, because of many reasons they are not able to enter into Canaan. In this way, the Israel church is being judged. That is what, in 2 Thessalonians 2: 10 – 12 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,
that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
According to the above-mentioned verses if we do sin against the Lord, then the Lord will condemn us when he judges us. In this manner, let us be careful so that we will not be condemned when judged. Let us submit ourselves.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
