“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Psalms 136: 18, 19 And slew famous kings, for His mercy endures forever—
Sihon king of the Amorites, for His mercy endures forever;
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
We, the bride, the church in our soul the deeds of the Amorites and the deeds of Bashan, which are the deeds of the Gentiles should be completely removed.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that our soul, the bride, the church should never lose steadfastness due to fear of the enemy and for that we should be as those who safeguard our soul carefully.
Next, what we are going to meditate upon is that Numbers 21: 25 – 27 So Israel took all these cities, and Israel dwelt in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon and in all its villages.
For Heshbon was the city of Sihon king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab, and had taken all his land from his hand as far as the Arnon.
Therefore those who speak in proverbs say: “Come to Heshbon, let it be built; Let the city of Sihon be repaired.
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned facts the Israelites captured the cities of the Amorites and when they dwelt there, they are fortified by Ammon all around. The reason for this and why he is showing this as a pattern is that in our soul due to its deeds and since they are changing one after the other, there many spiritual fights are being revealed.
These, only if we keep our faith on our Lord Jesus and only if we will do the deeds that he did, he will build Zion in us and he will manifest in his glory. But the Israelites dwelt in Heshbon and all its cities and all its villages. It was the city of the Ammorites, which belonged to Sihon. This was taken by Sihon who had fought against the former king of Moab and had taken it from his hand. Therefore he is saying Come to Heshbon, let it be built; Let the city of Sihon be repaired.
The explanation of this is that our soul is stuck to the world and will be wavering regarding how we can live life with enjoyment. Therefore our soul, in many ways will see the deeds of others and we will also do them boldly. Then instead of building Zion, to raise up Sihon our soul will be bold to do crooked things. In this manner, to repair Sihon Numbers 21: 28 “For fire went out from Heshbon, a flame from the city of Sihon; It consumed Ar of Moab, the lords of the heights of the Arnon; in the above verse it is shown.
Then the Israelites sang the song Numbers 21: 29, 30 Woe to you, Moab! You have perished, O people of Chemosh! He has given his sons as fugitives, and his daughters into captivity, to Sihon king of the Amorites.
“But we have shot at them; Heshbon has perished as far as Dibon. Then we laid waste as far as Nophah, which reaches to Medeba.”
In this manner, in the city of Amorites the Israelites dwelt. Then they sent spies to the city of Jazer and they built them and their villages along with them and drove out the Amorites who were there. And when they turned and went up by the way to Bashan, Og king of Bashan along with all his people went out to battle against Israel, the church.
From this what we come to know is that the land of Amorites is the land of Gentiles. What is written as strong bulls of Bashan is that they have done iniquity and have raised themselves up against God. Regarding that, Psalms 68: 13 – 17 Though you lie down among the sheepfolds, you will be like the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.”
When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Zalmon.
A mountain of God is the mountain of Bashan; A mountain of many peaks is the mountain of Bashan.
Why do you fume with envy, you mountains of many peaks? This is the mountain which God desires to dwell in; Yes, the Lord will dwell in it forever.
The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of thousands; The Lord is among them as in Sinai, in the Holy Place.
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, till this day whatever kind of thoughts of iniquity we may have had, God will scatter the enemies and make us holy, and he will make us white as snow in Mount Zalmon. In this manner, those who were as strong bulls of Bashan God is saving them and making them holy. In this manner, God is delivering us from the hands of many enemies and saving us. Therefore, God is telling Moses in Numbers 21: 34, 35 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Do not fear him, for I have delivered him into your hand, with all his people and his land; and you shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon.”
So they defeated him, his sons, and all his people, until there was no survivor left him; and they took possession of his land.
According to the above-mentioned verses there is no need to fear Og, the king of Bashan. Do to him just like what was done to Sihon, the king of the Amorites. In this way, they defeated him, his sons, and all his people, until there was no survivor left him; and they took possession of his land.
All these God is showing as a pattern that we, so that our inner man is made very holy God is doing such things and showing as a pattern. My dear people, in our inner thoughts whatever evil things come, we must change them and safeguard our soul with the word of God.
In this manner, we must destroy the deeds of the Gentiles and let us submit ourselves to safeguard our soul.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
