“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

2 Peter 3: 17, 18 You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked;

but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

-May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

We, the bride, the church if we hear the voice of God, to obey them we must preserve discretion.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that in our soul, the bride, the church we must not give place to evil powers and we must safeguard it. That is, Balaam the son of Beor because he gave place to diviners who are the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian that were sent by Balak so God came to Balaam and asked him who are these men with you? So Balaam said to God, Numbers 22: 11 ‘Look, a people has come out of Egypt, and they cover the face of the earth. Come now, curse them for me; perhaps I shall be able to overpower them and drive them out.’”

When he said the above-mentioned words to God, then God said to Balaam you shall not go with them; you shall not curse the people, for they are blessed and he says this regarding Israel, the church. This thing God is showing as a pattern because we, the bride, the church in our soul we should never get involved with the deeds of Balak and we must safeguard ourselves.  If we give place in this manner, our holy church, our soul will be defiled. In that case, like Balaam our soul will be deceived for money. Then God will not be pleased with us.

Therefore, Balaam rose in the morning and said to the princes of Balak, “Go back to your land, for the Lord has refused to give me permission to go with you.” And the princes of Moab rose and went to Balak, and said, “Balaam refuses to come with us.” Then Balak again sent princes, more numerous and more honorable than they. That is, Numbers 22: 16, 17 And they came to Balaam and said to him, “Thus says Balak the son of Zippor: ‘Please let nothing hinder you from coming to me;

for I will certainly honor you greatly, and I will do whatever you say to me. Therefore please come, curse this people for me.’”

For that Balaam, in Numbers 22: 18, 19 Then Balaam answered and said to the servants of Balak, “Though Balak were to give me his house full of silver and gold, I could not go beyond the word of the Lord my God, to do less or more.

Now therefore, please, you also stay here tonight, that I may know what more the Lord will say to me.”

When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verse, Balaam, even though God told him once not to go, the second time he sent more honourable people and as soon as he heard that he said that he will honour him, his soul got deceived and he gave the people that came there place to stay and due to that Numbers 22: 20 – 23 And God came to Balaam at night and said to him, “If the men come to call you, rise and go with them; but only the word which I speak to you—that you shall do.”

So Balaam rose in the morning, saddled his donkey, and went with the princes of Moab.

Then God’s anger was aroused because he went, and the Angel of the Lord took His stand in the way as an adversary against him. And he was riding on his donkey, and his two servants were with him.

Now the donkey saw the Angel of the Lord standing in the way with His drawn sword in His hand, and the donkey turned aside out of the way and went into the field. So Balaam struck the donkey to turn her back onto the road.

According to the above-mentioned words God came to Balaam and said to him “If the men come to call you, rise and go with them; but only the word which I speak to you—that you shall do.” So, Balaam rose in the morning and saddled his donkey and went with the princes of Moab. Then God’s anger was aroused because he went, and the Angel of the Lord took His stand in the way as an adversary against him.  And he climbed on his donkey and went. And his two servants were with him.

My dear people, according to the above-mentioned facts once we have been warned by God, to deceive us the enemy prepares ways cunningly in different ways to make us under him. In this way only, Balaam gets deceived.  God is telling him to go the second time. That is, he changes himself according to what pleases his mind and the second time he is making them stay with him. God who knew this is stopping his mind. But he is believing that and preparing to go.

God, who saw this stood against him as his adversary with anger. The Angel of the Lord holding a drawn sword in his hand and seeing him standing on the way the donkey turned aside out of the way. So Balaam struck the donkey on the way.

My dear people, in our journey of faith so that our soul does not get deceived we must listen to the voice of God and walk according to that. Even after hearing the voice of God if we get deceived and if our soul transgresses, when the Angel of the Lord warns us, we must have the discernment to know that. But because Balaam did not have that we see that he is beating the donkey on the way.

In this manner, when our soul is being awakened according to the guidance of God he is showing as a pattern that we must obey that.  Let us submit in this manner as those who will obey the guidance of God.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
