“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 41: 13 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting! Amen and Amen.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

For us, the bride, the church God is to be praised.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church if we listen to the voice of God to obey them, we must preserve discretion. But Balaam the son of Beor, though he listened to the voice of God we see that he got deceived by the words that Balak spoke and sent. Therefore, God’s anger was aroused with him and he stood with a drawn sword in front of the donkey on whom he journeyed, and he is blocking the way and we meditated regarding this.

In the same way, when we have received the guidance of God others in order to pull our soul by lust through words, because they make us forget the voice of God which we have heard, we become far away from God. So, we do not realize that God’s anger is upon us and we do not know where God is standing and warning us and we leave the way and just like how Balaam beat the donkey who turned aside out of the way and went into the field, we also are like those who neglect the words of God.

That is, the reason the donkey went into the field is because the donkey sees the Angel of the Lord standing with a drawn sword. But Balaam did not see that, and the reason is because his eyes had not been opened. Therefore God is telling, Isaiah 42: 17 – 20 They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, who trust in carved images, who say to the moulded images, ‘You are our gods.’

“Hear, you deaf; and look, you blind, that you may see.

Who is blind but My servant, or deaf as My messenger whom I send? Who is blind as he who is perfect, and blind as the Lord’s servant?

Seeing many things, but you do not observe; opening the ears, but he does not hear.”

When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, the eyes of many of the servants of God are blind and due to that he is telling that even though they see, they do not observe. Also, the donkey went to the field means in our life of faith if we neglect his word once, then later if we are warned by God we must obey that voice of warning and for our mistakes we must be within the field of God, which is the church of God and humble ourselves at his feet and confess our mistakes and receive forgiveness of our sin and in our soul we must receive new strength and that is the law that God has kept for us.

But because Balaam’s eyes were closed, he could not see the Angel of the Lord. Therefore, Numbers 22: 24 – 31 Then the Angel of the Lord stood in a narrow path between the vineyards, with a wall on this side and a wall on that side.

And when the donkey saw the Angel of the Lord, she pushed herself against the wall and crushed Balaam’s foot against the wall; so he struck her again.

Then the Angel of the Lord went further and stood in a narrow place where there was no way to turn either to the right hand or to the left.

And when the donkey saw the Angel of the Lord, she lay down under Balaam; so Balaam’s anger was aroused, and he struck the donkey with his staff.

Then the Lord opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, “What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?”

And Balaam said to the donkey, “Because you have abused me. I wish there were a sword in my hand, for now I would kill you!”

So the donkey said to Balaam, “Am I not your donkey on which you have ridden, ever since I became yours, to this day? Was I ever disposed to do this to you?” And he said, “No.”

Then the Lord opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the Angel of the Lord standing in the way with His drawn sword in His hand; and he bowed his head and fell flat on his face.

When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, the donkey saw the Angel of the Lord and pushed herself against the wall, and crushed Balaam’s foot against the wall; so he struck her again. Then the Angel of the Lord went further and stood in a narrow place where there was no way to turn either to the right hand or to the left. And when the donkey saw the Angel of the Lord, she lay down under Balaam; so Balaam’s anger was aroused, and he struck the donkey with his staff.

Then the Lord opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, “What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?” And Balaam said to the donkey, “Because you have abused me. I wish there were a sword in my hand, for now I would kill you!” So the donkey said to Balaam, “Am I not your donkey on which you have ridden, ever since I became yours, to this day? Was I ever disposed to do this to you?” And he said, “No.” Then the Lord opened Balaam’s eyes, and only then he saw the Angel of the Lord standing in the way with His drawn sword in His hand; and he bowed his head and fell flat on his face.

My dear people, what God is showing here as a pattern is that in the same way in our lives when we live the life of faith, not knowing how to go and everyone should think regarding the pressured life that came. That is, every pressure is not given by the enemy and we must have the understanding that God also pressures us.

My dear people, because the servant of God or ministry workers of God’s eyes were blind, Balaam could not see the Angel of the Lord standing there. Therefore, we see that he is beating the donkey three times. After that God is opening the mouth of the donkey. To fulfil this it is written that God is coming riding on a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey. Regarding this, Zechariah 9: 9 – 11 “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, lowly and riding on a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey.

I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim and the horse from Jerusalem; The battle bow shall be cut off. He shall speak peace to the nations; His dominion shall be ‘from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.’

“As for you also, because of the blood of your covenant, I will set your prisoners free from the waterless pit.

What the facts of this signifies is that in our soul Christ is coming as King and from there in our soul he is giving us salvation and he reigns over us completely and destroys the evil deeds and he is giving us peace and he is showing that clearly.

Also, how the Lord is revealing it in our mind is that Mark 11: 1 – 10 Now when they drew near Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples;

and He said to them, “Go into the village opposite you; and as soon as you have entered it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has sat. Loose it and bring it.

And if anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord has need of it,’ and immediately he will send it here.”

So they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door outside on the street, and they loosed it.

But some of those who stood there said to them, “What are you doing, loosing the colt?”

And they spoke to them just as Jesus had commanded. So they let them go.

Then they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their clothes on it, and He sat on it.

And many spread their clothes on the road, and others cut down leafy branches from the trees and spread them on the road.

Then those who went before and those who followed cried out, saying: ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’

Blessed is the kingdom of our father David That comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”

The above-mentioned verses are the blessings which God gives us in our inner soul. Our God is a God who is praised. In this manner, let us submit ourselves for all our souls to be blessed.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
