“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Psalms 21: 6 For You have made him most blessed forever; you have made him exceedingly glad with Your presence.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
We, the bride, the church should grow in holiness to receive the blessings of God.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should speak only those words which God gives in our mouth and otherwise if we do our own desire God’s anger will come upon us and then later we must know this and reconcile with God and if we will reconcile in this manner he will have mercy upon us and he gives us his guidance. Not only that, but it was also warned to Balaam to speak only those words which God gives in his mouth but Balak called him to curse the Israelites. But God is using Balaam and blessing them. God is blessing those who are serving God with a blameless heart.
Next, the fact that we are meditating upon is Numbers 23: 13 – 26 Then Balak said to him, “Please come with me to another place from which you may see them; you shall see only the outer part of them and shall not see them all; curse them for me from there.”
So he brought him to the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven altars, and offered a bull and a ram on each altar.
And he said to Balak, “Stand here by your burnt offering while I meet the Lord over there.”
Then the Lord met Balaam, and put a word in his mouth, and said, “Go back to Balak, and thus you shall speak.”
So he came to him, and there he was, standing by his burnt offering, and the princes of Moab were with him. And Balak said to him, “What has the Lord spoken?”
Then he took up his oracle and said: “Rise up, Balak, and hear! Listen to me, son of Zippor!
“God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.
“He has not observed iniquity in Jacob, nor has He seen wickedness in Israel. The Lord his God is with him, and the shout of a King is among them.
God brings them out of Egypt; He has strength like a wild ox.
“For there is no sorcery against Jacob, nor any divination against Israel. It now must be said of Jacob and of Israel, ‘Oh, what God has done!’
Look, a people rises like a lioness, and lifts itself up like a lion; It shall not lie down until it devours the prey, and drinks the blood of the slain.”
Then Balak said to Balaam, “Neither curse them at all, nor bless them at all!”
So Balaam answered and said to Balak, “Did I not tell you, saying, ‘All that the Lord speaks, that I must do’?”
When we look at the above-mentioned verses, because God blessed Israel, Balak told Balaam “Please come with me to another place from which you may see them; you shall see only the outer part of them and shall not see them all; and he said curse them for me from there.” So he brought him to the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven altars, and offered a bull and a ram on each altar.
After sacrificing in this manner, he went to the place where the Lord will meet him. Then the Lord met him, and put a word in his mouth, and said, “Go back to Balak, and thus you shall speak.” So when he was going to Balak, and there he was, standing by his burnt offering, and the princes of Moab were with him and when he was waiting for Balaam earnestly, Balam told him Numbers 23: 19 – 24 “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent.
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, we can see that God is blessing his people, the Israelites. He has not observed iniquity in Jacob, nor has He seen wickedness in Israel and they are those who have confessed their iniquity, sin all these things before the Lord and have received deliverance and that God is with the Israelites and the shout of our Lord Jesus Christ is among them. Sorcery and divination is not there among them and any sorcery or divination will not touch them and no one can fight against the Israelites and win and that those who come against them shall not lie down until it devours them, and we can read how the Lord blessed the Israelites.
Also, what we must be careful is that Moab is going to the top of the mountain to offer sacrifice to curse the Israelites. My dear people, only if each one of us grow in holiness we can overcome victoriously from the guidance of the sorcery of Baal. Also, Balak who saw that God blessed the Israelites a second time, told Balaam “Neither curse them at all, nor bless them at all!” So Balaam answered, “Did I not tell you, saying, ‘All that the Lord speaks, that I must do’?”
My dear people, the second time he is blessing them more than the first time. That is, in every temptation when we grow in prayer and holiness God’s blessings will continue to increase within us. In this manner, let us submit ourselves so that everyday God’s blessing will increase within us.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
