“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Psalms 132: 14 “This is My resting place forever; here I will dwell, for I have desired it.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
We, the bride, the church should worship God daily with our whole soul, whole heart and whole mind and we must worship with delight.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should offer worship to God daily in the morning and evening.
Next what we are meditating is that Numbers 28: 8 – 10 The other lamb you shall offer in the evening; as the morning grain offering and its drink offering, you shall offer it as an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord.
‘And on the Sabbath day two lambs in their first year, without blemish, and two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour as a grain offering, mixed with oil, with its drink offering—
this is the burnt offering for every Sabbath, besides the regular burnt offering with its drink offering.
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, just like the morning worship, which is the grain offering and the drink offering in the evening we must offer the other lamb as an offering made by fire to give a sweet aroma to the Lord. Just like how we are worshipping in the morning, we must worship in the evening also and this is a law of God. Next, Sabbath day grain offering is being written. That is, more than sitting at the feet of God on the other days, it is written that we must offer two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour as a grain offering, mixed with oil, with its drink offering.
But my dear people, on the Sabbath day, God rested in the Garden of Eden and blessed the seventh day, and we see that he made it holy. But for our Lord Jesus Christ to dwell in our soul forever as the holy one, he is filling us with his Spirit. Also, Christ only, as the day is manifesting himself for all of us in our soul. Also, on the Sabbath day Christ is doing many miracles. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Lord of the Sabbath also.
Luke 6: 1 – 5 Now it happened on the second Sabbath after the first that He went through the grainfields. And His disciples plucked the heads of grain and ate them, rubbing them in their hands.
And some of the Pharisees said to them, “Why are you doing what is not lawful to do on the Sabbath?”
But Jesus answering them said, “Have you not even read this, what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him:
how he went into the house of God, took and ate the showbread, and also gave some to those with him, which is not lawful for any but the priests to eat?”
And He said to them, “The Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.”
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, on the second Sabbath after the first when He went through the grainfields, His disciples plucked the heads of grain and ate them, rubbing them in their hands. And some of the Pharisees said to them, “Why are you doing what is not lawful to do on the Sabbath?” Jesus answered them that when David was hungry, he and those who were with him: he went into the house of God, took and ate the showbread, and also gave some to those with him, which is not lawful for any but the priests to eat and Jesus said this and he also said, “The Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.”
Now it happened on another Sabbath, that He entered the synagogue and taught. And a man was there whose hand was withered. So the scribes and Pharisees watched Him closely, whether He would heal on the Sabbath, that they might find an accusation against Him. Then Jesus said to them, Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy? And when He had looked around at them all, He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And when he stretched out his hand in this manner, his hand was restored as whole as the other. But the scribes and the Pharisees were not pleased with it.
My dear people, the worship that we are offering God, we should not call it as the worship of the Sabbath day. Christ, in this manner is telling the Sabbath day as the holy day of the Lord. In this manner, we must offer worship to God daily. Also, Isaiah 58: 13, 14 “If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight, The holy day of the Lord honourable, and shall honour Him, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words,
Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord; and I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth and feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father. The mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, if we call the Sabbath day as a delight and as the Lord’s holy day and as a honourable day and if we will consider it with honour, then we shall delight yourself in the Lord. Then you will be a delight to the Lord. And he will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth and feed you with the heritage of Jacob and the mouth of the Lord has spoken this.
Therefore, my dear people on the Sabbath day we must worship God and offer a delightful worship to him. Also, we must submit ourselves that daily we will become as those who will worship God with our whole soul, whole strength and whole mind.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
