“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Proverbs 7: 4, 5 Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,” and call understanding your nearest kin,

That they may keep you from the immoral woman, from the seductress who flatters with her words.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah 

In our soul, the bride, the church the deeds of the foreign women should be destroyed.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church if we have submitted our soul to God with vows and agreements then according to the will of God, we must never fail to fulfil them.

Next, the thing that we are going to meditate upon is Numbers 31: 1 – 13 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 

“Take vengeance on the Midianites for the children of Israel. Afterward you shall be gathered to your people.”

So Moses spoke to the people, saying, “Arm some of yourselves for war, and let them go against the Midianites to take vengeance for the Lord on Midian. 

A thousand from each tribe of all the tribes of Israel you shall send to the war.”

So there were recruited from the divisions of Israel one thousand from each tribe, twelve thousand armed for war. 

Then Moses sent them to the war, one thousand from each tribe; he sent them to the war with Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, with the holy articles and the signal trumpets in his hand. 

And they warred against the Midianites, just as the Lord commanded Moses, and they killed all the males. 

They killed the kings of Midian with the rest of those who were killed—Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba, the five kings of Midian. Balaam the son of Beor they also killed with the sword.

And the children of Israel took the women of Midian captive, with their little ones, and took as spoil all their cattle, all their flocks, and all their goods. 

They also burned with fire all the cities where they dwelt, and all their forts. 

And they took all the spoil and all the booty—of man and beast.

Then they brought the captives, the booty, and the spoil to Moses, to Eleazar the priest, and to the congregation of the children of Israel, to the camp in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, across from Jericho. 

And Moses, Eleazar the priest, and all the leaders of the congregation, went to meet them outside the camp.

When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, the Lord spoke to Moses, to take vengeance on the Midianites for the children of Israel and he is telling that among yourselves separate and arm some of the men who can go to war against them. But Moses said that from all the tribes of Israel send a thousand from each tribe to the war. In this manner, from the twelve tribes twelve thousand men were armed for war. When Moses sent and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to war he sent them, with the holy articles and the signal trumpets in his hand. Just as the Lord commanded, they warred against the Midianites, and they killed all the males.

If we are holy, then only we can receive the victory. The explanation of this is that, in the portion that we meditated upon few days back we saw that when an Israelite committed harlotry with a Midianite woman Phinehas killed them with a javelin. The explanation why God is showing this as a pattern is spiritual harlotry; we must not have contact with other women. That is, our soul should be as a decoration of the holy church and if we accept the worldly luxury, the decorations in our soul then lust will conceive and it gives birth to sin, and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

Therefore our Lord Jesus Christ arises in our soul as the son who has won over death and hell. In this manner, to destroy the deeds of the foreign women God is using Moses and showing it as a pattern. Also, regarding seven women God is telling in the verses in Isaiah 4: 1 – 6 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, “We will eat our own food and wear our own apparel; only let us be called by your name, to take away our reproach.”

In that day the Branch of the Lord shall be beautiful and glorious; and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and appealing for those of Israel who have escaped.

And it shall come to pass that he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy—everyone who is recorded among the living in Jerusalem. 

When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and purged the blood of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and by the spirit of burning, 

then the Lord will create above every dwelling place of Mount Zion, and above her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night. For over all the glory there will be a covering. 

And there will be a tabernacle for shade in the daytime from the heat, for a place of refuge, and for a shelter from storm and rain.

That is, seven women take hold of one man as husband. Their facts are that everyone will only tell the name of Jesus. But their deeds will not belong to him. That is, they will eat their own food, and they will say that they will wear their own garment. But those who have escaped from those thoughts, the Branch of the Lord shall be beautiful and glorious; and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and appealing for them. In this manner, God will wash away the filth of the daughters of Zion and when he purges the blood of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and by the spirit of burning, and it is written that everyone who is recorded among the living will be called holy.

Therefore, our God is showing us as a pattern that in our soul, which is an Israelite the deeds of Midianites should not arise and is telling this to Moses. Just like what God commanded not only did they kill the Midianites, but they also killed the five kings of the Midianites namely Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba. These are the spirits of the giants that arise in our soul. These kinds of spirits should be cleansed by the spirit of burning.

Balaam the son of Beor they also killed with the sword. If Balaam was not killed by the sword our soul will wander for money. It will not get rest. Regarding them Jude 1: 11 – 13 Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah.

These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; 

raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.

When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, such kind of people are those who are wandering. For them blackness of darkness is reserved forever. Therefore they took the women of Midian captive, with their little ones, and took as spoil all their cattle, all their flocks, and all their goods. They also burned with fire all the cities where they dwelt, and all their forts. Then in Numbers 31: 11, 12 And they took all the spoil and all the booty—of man and beast.

Then they brought the captives, the booty, and the spoil to Moses, to Eleazar the priest, and to the congregation of the children of Israel, to the camp in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, across from Jericho.

According to the above-mentioned verses when we meditate upon them, they burnt only the Midianites forts and cities. But otherwise they brought their women, children, their cattle and their flocks and all the booty, and the spoil to Moses, to Eleazar the priest, and to the congregation of the children of Israel, to the camp in the plains of Moab. And to see them Eleazar the priest, and all the leaders of the congregation, went to meet them outside the camp.

My dear people, the evil deeds, that is the world, that are there in our soul should be burnt by the spirit of burning. In that whatever things we are not destroying completely our priest, who is Christ will be watching carefully. Those who are in this manner will be seen only outside the camp. 

Therefore, my dear people let us remove completely all the evil deeds in our soul and let us submit ourselves so that we will be clean.
