“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
2 Corinthians 3: 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
We, the bride, the church should destroy the foreign Gentiles and should enter into the glory of Christ.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated how we, the bride, the church should every day be cleansed by The Holy Spirit and The Holy Fire and the facts regarding this God is showing Israel, the church as a pattern and through Moses how God is looting the Midianites and how the Israelites are becoming defiled and how God is cleansing all this and the facts regarding this we meditated along with a pattern. The reason for this is that we must ensure that our garment of salvation does not become dirty and every day we must wash ourselves and cleanse ourselves and renew ourselves and be as those who safeguard our soul.
Next, what we are meditating is that Numbers 31: 25 – 31 Now the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
“Count up the plunder that was taken—of man and beast—you and Eleazar the priest and the chief fathers of the congregation;
and divide the plunder into two parts, between those who took part in the war, who went out to battle, and all the congregation.
And levy a tribute for the Lord on the men of war who went out to battle: one of every five hundred of the persons, the cattle, the donkeys, and the sheep;
take it from their half and give it to Eleazar the priest as a heave offering to the Lord.
And from the children of Israel’s half you shall take one of every fifty, drawn from the persons, the cattle, the donkeys, and the sheep, from all the livestock, and give them to the Levites who keep charge of the tabernacle of the Lord.”
So Moses and Eleazar the priest did as the Lord commanded Moses.
The facts regarding the above-mentioned verses are that all the plunder that was caught and taken from the Midianites should be counted. But the ones who must count are Moses, and Eleazar the priest and the chief fathers of the congregation. They should divide the plunder that was looted, taken and brought into two parts between those who took part in the war, who went out to battle, and all the congregation.
Also, levy a tribute for the Lord on the men of war who went out to battle: one of every five hundred of the persons, the cattle, the donkeys, and the sheep; take it from their half, and give it to Eleazar the priest as a heave offering to the Lord. And from the children of Israel’s half you shall take one of every fifty, drawn from the persons, the cattle, the donkeys, and the sheep, from all the livestock, and give them to the Levites who keep charge of the tabernacle of the Lord. So Moses and Eleazar the priest did as the Lord commanded Moses.
My dear people, in the above-mentioned portion when we meditate upon this for those who are truly doing the work of God a good reward will surely come from him. But we should not be lazy. The souls should be delivered from the Gentiles and to possess the redemption we must fight and be as those who pray for it. If we pray, the one who fights for us is our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, for us who are doing the work of the Lord we have life through him and we are able to know it. That is what, the thirst of our soul God is changing it.
Therefore, the word of God in 1 Corinthians 9: 13 – 27 Do you not know that those who minister the holy things eat of the things of the temple, and those who serve at the altar partake of the offerings of the altar?
Even so the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should live from the gospel.
But I have used none of these things, nor have I written these things that it should be done so to me; for it would be better for me to die than that anyone should make my boasting void.
For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!
For if I do this willingly, I have a reward; but if against my will, I have been entrusted with a stewardship.
What is my reward then? That when I preach the gospel, I may present the gospel of Christ without charge, that I may not abuse my authority in the gospel.
For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more;
and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law;
to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law;
to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
Now this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I may be partaker of it with you.
Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.
And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.
Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air.
But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, we should not think of our life and do the work of God but for the gospel’s sake that I may be a partaker of it and because of that only I am doing this and like this we must do the work of God. Also, James 5: 19, 20 Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back,
let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.
The above-mentioned verses what it says is that each one of us, if any one of us leave the truth and wanders away to make them obey the truth we must preach to them. Also, those who wander away and walk by the error of his way we must lead them into the way of truth and save their soul from death and we must be as those who cover a multitude of sin and this is the will of God. In this manner we must be truthful in the work of God.
Also, what they plundered, what they gave to the priest and the portion that came to the Lord and what they gave the children of Israel and what was given to the Levites are written below. They are Numbers 31: 32 – 47 The booty remaining from the plunder, which the men of war had taken, was six hundred and seventy-five thousand sheep,
seventy-two thousand cattle,
sixty-one thousand donkeys,
and thirty-two thousand persons in all, of women who had not known a man intimately.
And the half, the portion for those who had gone out to war, was in number three hundred and thirty-seven thousand five hundred sheep;
and the Lord’s tribute of the sheep was six hundred and seventy-five.
The cattle were thirty-six thousand, of which the Lord’s tribute was seventy-two.
The donkeys were thirty thousand five hundred, of which the Lord’s tribute was sixty-one.
The persons were sixteen thousand, of which the Lord’s tribute was thirty-two persons.
So Moses gave the tribute which was the Lord’s heave offering to Eleazar the priest, as the Lord commanded Moses.
And from the children of Israel’s half, which Moses separated from the men who fought—
now the half belonging to the congregation was three hundred and thirty-seven thousand five hundred sheep,
thirty-six thousand cattle,
thirty thousand five hundred donkeys,
and sixteen thousand persons—
and from the children of Israel’s half Moses took one of every fifty, drawn from man and beast, and gave them to the Levites, who kept charge of the tabernacle of the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses.
Then Numbers 31: 48 – 54 Then the officers who were over thousands of the army, the captains of thousands and captains of hundreds, came near to Moses;
and they said to Moses, “Your servants have taken a count of the men of war who are under our command, and not a man of us is missing.
Therefore we have brought an offering for the Lord, what every man found of ornaments of gold: armlets and bracelets and signet rings and earrings and necklaces, to make atonement for ourselves before the Lord.”
So Moses and Eleazar the priest received the gold from them, all the fashioned ornaments.
And all the gold of the offering that they offered to the Lord, from the captains of thousands and captains of hundreds, was sixteen thousand seven hundred and fifty shekels.
(The men of war had taken spoil, every man for himself.)
And Moses and Eleazar the priest received the gold from the captains of thousands and of hundreds and brought it into the tabernacle of meeting as a memorial for the children of Israel before the Lord.
What these verses say is that the officers who were over thousands of the army, the captains of thousands and captains of hundreds, came near to Moses; and they said to Moses, “Your servants have taken a count of the men of war who are under our command, and not a man of us is missing. Therefore we have brought an offering for the Lord, what every man found of ornaments of gold: armlets and bracelets and signet rings and earrings and necklaces, to make atonement for ourselves before the Lord.
So Moses and Eleazar the priest received the gold from them, and all the gold of the offering was sixteen thousand seven hundred and fifty shekels. These the men of war had taken spoil, every man for himself. And Moses and Eleazar the priest received the gold from the hands of the people who brought them and brought it into the tabernacle of meeting as a memorial for the children of Israel before the Lord.
My dear people, what this gold is a pattern of is that the glory of God. Therefore memorial means the inheritance that the fathers have kept. This is a sign of Christ. Now this sign, in our body Christ is manifesting himself with glory.
My dear people, let us submit ourselves so that we can enter into the glory of Christ.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
