“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Ezekiel 34: 14 I will feed them in good pasture, and their fold shall be on the high mountains of Israel. There they shall lie down in a good fold and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
We, the bride, the church should find the good pasture.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated regarding how we, the bride, the church should destroy the foreign Gentiles and the facts regarding how we should enter into the glory of Christ.
But next what we will meditate is that Numbers 32: 1 – 10 Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of livestock; and when they saw the land of Jazer and the land of Gilead, that indeed the region was a place for livestock,
the children of Gad and the children of Reuben came and spoke to Moses, to Eleazar the priest, and to the leaders of the congregation, saying,
“Ataroth, Dibon, Jazer, Nimrah, Heshbon, Elealeh, Shebam, Nebo, and Beon,
the country which the Lord defeated before the congregation of Israel, is a land for livestock, and your servants have livestock.”
Therefore they said, “If we have found favor in your sight, let this land be given to your servants as a possession. Do not take us over the Jordan.”
And Moses said to the children of Gad and to the children of Reuben: “Shall your brethren go to war while you sit here?
Now why will you discourage the heart of the children of Israel from going over into the land which the Lord has given them?
Thus your fathers did when I sent them away from Kadesh Barnea to see the land.
For when they went up to the Valley of Eshcol and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, so that they did not go into the land which the Lord had given them.
So the Lord’s anger was aroused on that day, and He swore an oath, saying,
The children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of livestock; and when they saw the land of Jazer and the land of Gilead, that indeed the region was a place for livestock, the children of Gad and the children of Reuben came and spoke to Moses, to Eleazar the priest, and to the leaders of the congregation, saying, “Ataroth, Dibon, Jazer, Nimrah, Heshbon, Elealeh, Shebam, Nebo, and Beon, the country which the Lord defeated before the congregation of Israel, is a land for livestock. Therefore they said, “If we have found favor in your sight, let this land be given to your servants as a possession. Do not take us over the Jordan.”
The place that is ideal for livestock means the place where people worship God, and this shows the church. But Moses: said to the children of Gad and to the children of Reuben: why will you discourage the heart of the children of Israel from going over into the land which the Lord has given them? Thus your fathers did when I sent them away from Kadesh Barnea to see the land. For when they went up to the Valley of Eshcol and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, so that they did not go into the land which the Lord had given them. So the Lord’s anger was aroused on that day.
When we look at these facts, the place that is ideal for the livestock means pastures, it is a place where a shed is there for them to stay. These are shown as a pattern that is, the church of God. In the church of God, we must worship God, serve him and to worship he is redeeming us from sin, which is the bondage of Egypt and bringing us. Explaining this, he is using our fathers and showing this as a pattern.
In our lives, all the traditional customs and habits that were there and worldly traditions we must everything and to offer our whole soul to God, the Lord is using certain examples that is the cities and God is showing the places where they were victorious. But we must see and know which is the good pasture and then we must worship God. But for that, it is written that they are discouraging the Israelites.
Yes, that is right. In this day also, people are stopping others from going to true God’s truthful church. Also, in some families the family members itself will stop them. Therefore, the word of God says in Micah 7: 5 – 7 Do not trust in a friend; do not put your confidence in a companion; Guard the doors of your mouth from her who lies in your bosom.
For son dishonors father, daughter rises against her mother, daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; A man’s enemies are the men of his own household.
Therefore I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me.
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, we must not trust any man, but we must wait for the Lord and we must inherit salvation. Also, Psalms 23: 1 - 6 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Let us meditate upon the above-mentioned verses and give our soul the food that it needs and to abide with Christ forever, let us find the good pasture. Regarding that, John 10: 9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
Let us submit ourselves to be saved by the above-mentioned verses.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
