“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Ephesians 2: 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

We, the bride, the church should safeguard ourselves so that we do not move away from the presence of God.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should have complete faith in God in our lives. This is because Aaron dies in a Mount called Hor and just like God told he is being buried.

Next, what we are meditating is that Numbers 33: 40 – 56 Now the king of Arad, the Canaanite, who dwelt in the South in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.

So they departed from Mount Hor and camped at Zalmonah.

They departed from Zalmonah and camped at Punon.

They departed from Punon and camped at Oboth.

They departed from Oboth and camped at Ije Abarim, at the border of Moab.

They departed from Ijim and camped at Dibon Gad.

They moved from Dibon Gad and camped at Almon Diblathaim.

They moved from Almon Diblathaim and camped in the mountains of Abarim before Nebo.

They departed from the mountains of Abarim and camped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, across from Jericho.

They camped by the Jordan, from Beth Jesimoth as far as the Abel Acacia Grove in the plains of Moab.

Now the Lord spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, across from Jericho, saying,

“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you have crossed the Jordan into the land of Canaan,

then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, destroy all their engraved stones, destroy all their molded images, and demolish all their high places;

you shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land and dwell in it, for I have given you the land to possess.

And you shall divide the land by lot as an inheritance among your families; to the larger you shall give a larger inheritance, and to the smaller you shall give a smaller inheritance; there everyone’s inheritance shall be whatever falls to him by lot. You shall inherit according to the tribes of your fathers.

But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then it shall be that those whom you let remain shall be irritants in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they shall harass you in the land where you dwell.

Moreover it shall be that I will do to you as I thought to do to them.’”

Also, in the days that Aaron died the king of Arad, the Canaanite, who dwelt in the South in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel. Then the Israelites departed from Mount Hor and camped at Zalmonah. Also, according to what is mentioned above they camped. In this manner, when they were camping and coming God told Moses “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: When you have crossed the Jordan into the land of Canaan, then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, destroy all their engraved stones, destroy all their molded images, and demolish all their high places; you shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land and dwell in it, for I have given you the land to possess.

When we meditate about this, we come to know that the Canaanites served the idols as gods and are worshipping moulded images. The reason why God is showing that as a pattern to us is that the land of Canaan is a land where milk and honey flows. That land is our soul. There many types of tribes are working, and we become under the bondage of idols. But when we accept Christ as our personal Saviour, God is chasing them from our soul.

Also, they are putting lots and are making the land as their inheritance. To the larger you shall give a larger inheritance, and to the smaller you shall give a smaller inheritance; there everyone’s inheritance shall be whatever falls to him by lot. You shall inherit according to the tribes of your fathers. The inheritance that our fathers Abraham, Isaac, Jacob kept is God’s house and his wealth is Christ.

Also, after our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross, they divided his garments, and the word of God says that for his clothing they cast lots. Also, there was power in his garment. Nevertheless, his clothing signifies praise. Such kind of deeds are happening by God and the reason for this is that by his power, he is breaking the hate, which is the middle wall of separation. Then praise and thanksgiving rises in the tongue. In this manner, he is saving each one of us from problems and death.

Also, if we put lots according to the words of the Bible, we can come to know that its decision is from the Lord. That is what, in Proverbs 16: 33 The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord. Also, Casting lots causes contentions to cease, and keeps the mighty apart as said in Proverbs 18: 18.

When we see this, it shows that there is no partiality. Also, what God is saying is that if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land which are in our soul, and if we will let them remain, they shall be irritants in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they shall harass our soul with tribulations. Moreover I will do to you as I thought to do to them. The meaning of this is that just like how he is chasing them, he will chase us also from the presence of the Lord like them.

Therefore, my dear people let us submit ourselves to walk according to what God says so that God does not chase us away from his presence.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
