“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

1 John 4: 21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

If we, the bride, the church hate our brothers we are murderers.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should not take vengeance upon anyone and also regarding the cities of refuge and that the cities of refuge are a pattern of Christ and we meditated that God is the one who takes vengeance for any wrong that is done.

But today what we will be meditating is that Numbers 35: 15 – 34 These six cities shall be for refuge for the children of Israel, for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them, that anyone who kills a person accidentally may flee there.

‘But if he strikes him with an iron implement, so that he dies, he is a murderer; the murderer shall surely be put to death. 

And if he strikes him with a stone in the hand, by which one could die, and he does die, he is a murderer; the murderer shall surely be put to death. 

Or if he strikes him with a wooden hand weapon, by which one could die, and he does die, he is a murderer; the murderer shall surely be put to death. 

The avenger of blood himself shall put the murderer to death; when he meets him, he shall put him to death. 

If he pushes him out of hatred or, while lying in wait, hurls something at him so that he dies, 

or in enmity he strikes him with his hand so that he dies, the one who struck him shall surely be put to death. He is a murderer. The avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death when he meets him.

‘However, if he pushes him suddenly without enmity, or throws anything at him without lying in wait, 

or uses a stone, by which a man could die, throwing it at him without seeing him, so that he dies, while he was not his enemy or seeking his harm, 

then the congregation shall judge between the manslayer and the avenger of blood according to these judgments. 

So the congregation shall deliver the manslayer from the hand of the avenger of blood, and the congregation shall return him to the city of refuge where he had fled, and he shall remain there until the death of the high priest who was anointed with the holy oil. 

But if the manslayer at any time goes outside the limits of the city of refuge where he fled, 

and the avenger of blood finds him outside the limits of his city of refuge, and the avenger of blood kills the manslayer, he shall not be guilty of blood, 

because he should have remained in his city of refuge until the death of the high priest. But after the death of the high priest the manslayer may return to the land of his possession.

‘And these things shall be a statute of judgment to you throughout your generations in all your dwellings. 

Whoever kills a person, the murderer shall be put to death on the testimony of witnesses; but one witness is not sufficient testimony against a person for the death penalty. 

Moreover you shall take no ransom for the life of a murderer who is guilty of death, but he shall surely be put to death. 

And you shall take no ransom for him who has fled to his city of refuge, that he may return to dwell in the land before the death of the priest. 

So you shall not pollute the land where you are; for blood defiles the land, and no atonement can be made for the land, for the blood that is shed on it, except by the blood of him who shed it. 

Therefore do not defile the land which you inhabit, in the midst of which I dwell; for I the Lord dwell among the children of Israel.’”

In the above-mentioned verses, these six cities shall be for refuge for the children of Israel, for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them, that anyone who kills a person accidentally may flee there. Also, regarding murderers what is being said is that if one person strikes another person with an iron implement so that he dies, he is a murderer; And if he strikes him with a stone in the hand, and he does die, he is a murderer; Or if he strikes him with a wooden hand weapon, by which one could die, and he does die, he is a murderer.

In this manner, when the law says that the avenger of blood himself shall put the murderer to death; when he meets him, he shall put him to death, we see that our Lord Jesus Christ is saying that all of us should not seek vengeance, but I will repay them.

Also, if he pushes him out of hatred or, while lying in wait, hurls something at him so that he dies, or in enmity he strikes him with his hand so that he dies, he is a murderer. The avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death when he meets him says the law. But all the above-mentioned law our Lord Jesus Christ is fulfilling by his spirit. This is because the soul that sins will die. That is, if we sin in this manner, he makes our soul to die by the word of God, which is the sword, and he is killing it. No one can escape from such kind of punishment. Regarding that the word of God says in Matthew 10: 21 – 28 “Now brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. 

And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved. 

When they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For assuredly, I say to you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

“A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. 

It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household! 

Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed and hidden that will not be known.

“Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. 

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, no man can kill or destroy the soul for any man. But even if the murderer is killed, they can kill only the body, but the soul and the Spirit can only be killed by our Lord Jesus Christ. Also, he is pushing us to hell and destroying us. That is why, he is saying that Vengeance is mine. 

Also, regarding who are the murderers 1 John 3: 14 – 18 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death. 

Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 

But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

According to the above-mentioned verses, whoever hates his brother is a murderer. And we know that no murderer of man has eternal life abiding in him. Because he has given his life for us we know what is love. We are also in debt to give life for our brothers. Therefore if we show love to our brothers’ eternal life will abide in us.

Therefore my dear people, we must not hate the church, who are our brothers we must have love without hypocrisy for them and follow the commandments of God and let us submit ourselves to safeguard eternal life.
