“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
1 John 1: 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
We, the bride, the church should live in holiness and change into the dwelling place of God.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that if we, the bride, the church hate our brothers then we are a murderer. Also, we meditated regarding our soul being killed.
Next what we are meditating is that Numbers 35: 22 – 34 ‘However, if he pushes him suddenly without enmity, or throws anything at him without lying in wait,
or uses a stone, by which a man could die, throwing it at him without seeing him, so that he dies, while he was not his enemy or seeking his harm,
then the congregation shall judge between the manslayer and the avenger of blood according to these judgments.
So the congregation shall deliver the manslayer from the hand of the avenger of blood, and the congregation shall return him to the city of refuge where he had fled, and he shall remain there until the death of the high priest who was anointed with the holy oil.
But if the manslayer at any time goes outside the limits of the city of refuge where he fled,
and the avenger of blood finds him outside the limits of his city of refuge, and the avenger of blood kills the manslayer, he shall not be guilty of blood,
because he should have remained in his city of refuge until the death of the high priest. But after the death of the high priest the manslayer may return to the land of his possession.
‘And these things shall be a statute of judgment to you throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
Whoever kills a person, the murderer shall be put to death on the testimony of witnesses; but one witness is not sufficient testimony against a person for the death penalty.
Moreover you shall take no ransom for the life of a murderer who is guilty of death, but he shall surely be put to death.
And you shall take no ransom for him who has fled to his city of refuge, that he may return to dwell in the land before the death of the priest.
So you shall not pollute the land where you are; for blood defiles the land, and no atonement can be made for the land, for the blood that is shed on it, except by the blood of him who shed it.
Therefore do not defile the land which you inhabit, in the midst of which I dwell; for I the Lord dwell among the children of Israel.’”
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, if a person without any enmity pushes another person suddenly or throws any weapon at him without lying in wait, and if he dies then the congregation shall judge between the manslayer and the avenger of blood according to these judgments. So the congregation shall deliver the manslayer from the hand of the avenger of blood, and the congregation shall return him to the city of refuge.
That is, because that man did not do that willingly but walked in this deed by chance therefore to make him escape from the hands of the avenger of blood, he is taken to the city of refuge, who is our Lord Jesus Christ and is reconciled with him and dies along with him and later receives his life and when he resurrects in Spirit, he will escape from the hands of the avenger of blood. Also, it will enable him to come and dwell with God.
But if the avenger of blood finds him outside the limits of his city of refuge, and if the avenger of blood kills the manslayer, he shall not be guilty of blood, but the one who murdered should be in the city of refuge. But through our High priest, who is our Lord Jesus Christ he will die along with him according to the sin which he has done and then later he will be revived by his Spirit and he can return to his land of his possession.
From this, the thing that we must know is that he is telling any sinner look unto me and be ye saved. In this manner he is telling that these things shall be a statute of judgment to you throughout your generations in all your dwellings. Also, if anyone does a mistake, he has judgement from God. Therefore, so that he does not get destroyed in that judgement for refuge he must come under the wings of Christ. He must confess his mistakes to God and till he gets saved, for his life no one should take ransom. If we do this kind of mistake God’s dwelling place will become defiled. Therefore no one should defile the land. For I the Lord dwell among the children of Israel.
Therefore, my dear people let us submit ourselves for God to dwell within us.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
