“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 139: 24

And see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

We, the bride, the church should leave the wicked ways that are there in our soul and let us walk in the good path which is the path of the Lord.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church can receive the eternal redemption only from Christ.

Next what we are meditating upon is that 2 Kings 15: 1 - 12 In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Azariah the son of Amaziah, king of Judah, became king.

He was sixteen years old when he became king, and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Jecholiah of Jerusalem.

And he did what was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Amaziah had done,

except that the high places were not removed; the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places.

Then the Lord struck the king, so that he was a leper until the day of his death; so he dwelt in an isolated house. And Jotham the king’s son was over the royal house, judging the people of the land.

Now the rest of the acts of Azariah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

So Azariah rested with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the City of David. Then Jotham his son reigned in his place.

In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah king of Judah, Zechariah the son of Jeroboam reigned over Israel in Samaria six months.

And he did evil in the sight of the Lord, as his fathers had done; he did not depart from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who had made Israel sin.

Then Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him, and struck and killed him in front of the people; and he reigned in his place.

Now the rest of the acts of Zechariah, indeed they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

This was the word of the Lord which He spoke to Jehu, saying, “Your sons shall sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation.” And so it was.

In the above-mentioned verses, after Jeroboam, the king of Israel rested with his fathers then his son Zechariah reigned in his place. In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Azariah the son of Amaziah, king of Judah, became king. He was sixteen years old when he became king, and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Jecholiah of Jerusalem. And he did what was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Amaziah had done, except that the high places were not removed; the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places. Then Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him and struck and killed him in front of the people; and he reigned in his place. Now the rest of the acts of Zechariah, indeed they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel. This was the word of the Lord which He spoke to Jehu, saying, “Your sons shall sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation.” And so it was.

My dear people, when we meditate upon the above-mentioned words, the kings of Judah are not removing their high places from generation to generation. But even if they did what was right because the high places are not removed the God is being very patient. But in the life of Azariah, the king of Judah he is being struck with leprosy and he is being isolated. In this manner, if we also do not remove the high places of the idols in our inner man sin will be increasing and if we are struck with leprosy then till, we are cleansed by the blood of Christ we are being isolated. We will be in a state where we are isolated by others. This is because he is showing this to us a pattern means regarding this in 2 Peter 3: 8, 9 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

The above-mentioned verses are that the will of God is that we must completely repent. Also, in our spiritual life the things that are going to occur regarding that the words that the Lord is saying is that we must know that there will no change in that. That is, whatever the Lord is telling Jehu is happening in the same way but we in our life if we will leave our deeds of wickedness and do things what is right then even if the Lord has told for our evil he is changing that into good and we must know that and we must leave all the wicked ways that are in us and learn the right way from the Lord and to walk in this manner let us submit ourselves.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
