“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 122: 6, 7

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you.

Peace be within your walls, prosperity within your palaces.”

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

We, the bride, the church should be as those who have thoughts regarding the peace of Jerusalem.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should walk in the light of the face of the Lord.

Next what we are meditating upon is that 2 Kings 17: 19 – 23 Also Judah did not keep the commandments of the Lord their God but walked in the statutes of Israel which they made.

And the Lord rejected all the descendants of Israel, afflicted them, and delivered them into the hand of plunderers, until He had cast them from His sight.

For He tore Israel from the house of David, and they made Jeroboam the son of Nebat king. Then Jeroboam drove Israel from following the Lord and made them commit a great sin.

For the children of Israel walked in all the sins of Jeroboam which he did; they did not depart from them,

until the Lord removed Israel out of His sight, as He had said by all His servants the prophets. So Israel was carried away from their own land to Assyria, as it is to this day.

In the above-mentioned verses, God was angry with the Israelites and hid his face from them. But the tribe of Judah was left behind. But the people of the tribe of Judah did not keep the commandments of the Lord their God but walked in the statutes of Israel which they made. For the children of Israel walked in all the sins of Jeroboam which he did; they did not depart from them, until the Lord removed Israel out of His sight, as He had said by all His servants the prophets. So Israel was carried away from their own land to Assyria, as it is to this day. Also, the king of Assyria in 2 Kings 17: 24 Then the king of Assyria brought people from Babylon, Cuthah, Ava, Hamath, and from Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel; and they took possession of Samaria and dwelt in its cities.

He made the people who dwelt in the above-mentioned places to come and made them dwell in the cities of Samaria. They took possession of Samaria and dwelt in its cities. And it was so, at the beginning of their dwelling there, that they did not fear the Lord; therefore the Lord sent lions among them, which killed some of them. So they spoke to the king of Assyria, saying, “The nations whom you have removed and placed in the cities of Samaria do not know the rituals of the God of the land; therefore He has sent lions among them, and indeed, they are killing them because they do not know the rituals of the God of the land.” Then one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came and dwelt in Bethel and taught them how they should fear the Lord. However every nation continued to make gods of its own and put them in the shrines on the high places which the Samaritans had made, every nation in the cities where they dwelt.

When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, each one of us should compare and see ourselves with the word of God. That is, my dear people, even though many among us may be such that we are redeemed by Christ and have received the anointing of the Holy Spirit but because we do not follow the commandments of the Lord and because we do not accept many true words of God and though God is angry with us, we do not leave the wicked walks that we have been following. Such kind of people are being held captive by the Assyrians. In this manner, Assyrians are holding us captive means that because we are not following the commandments of the Lord so they will begin to walk in their wicked ways boldly. When they walk in this manner, they will feel like the path that they are walking is correct. Not only that but they will not realize the pressures that the Lord is giving them. They will think that it is happening accidentally. Also, because they brought those who were serving foreign gods to Samaria, they are building cities in Samaria and dwelling there. Therefore, God is sending lions among them, and they are killing some of them. The explanation regarding this is that those who are worshipping foreign gods other than the Lord, we must bring them to the presence of the Lord into the church with true teaching and give the true teaching so that the deeds of the Gentiles are not in them, and they should give themselves completely to the Lord. Otherwise evil teaching will come within them and for this it is written that God is sending lions among them. Those lions mean those who have deeds which are against the word of God the Lord is calling as lions. In this manner, if we accept the evil teaching which is against the word of God in our soul then our soul will die, and God is showing this as a pattern. Regarding this, 2 Timothy 4: 15 – 17 You also must beware of him, for he has greatly resisted our words.

At my first defense no one stood with me, but all forsook me. May it not be charged against them.

But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me, and that all the Gentiles might hear. Also I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

When we meditate upon the above-mentioned words, according to the real truth we must be as those who listen. But to those who do not know the truth we must preach the words of truth and lead them in the path of truth. But if they do not accept them then the anger of the Lord will reign upon them. If we will hear his voice and obey, then the peace of God will reign us. Let us submit ourselves for the peace of God.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
