"Glory to the Precious name of our    Lord Jesus Christ”.

Psalms 119:19

   I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.

       May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

       We, the bride the church ,  become the church of the Lord, the name of the Lord will stay in us forever.

       My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, In the portion of the Bible, that we meditated  upon in the past days,  We, the bride the church , meditated on the fact that  our life should always be happy and contented.

Next what we are meditating upon is that in

2 Chronicles 7:12-13.

 And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.

If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;

In the above verses, after the Lord's church was consecrated and filled with the glory of God, the Lord appeared to buy or send plague among my people.

2 Chronicles 7:14-15

 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.

          In the above verses, if the people of the Lord who bear His name humble themselves and pray, seek His face and turn from their wicked ways, the Lord in heaven will hear and forgive our sin and give glory to the nation. Therefore our hearts are sanctified, and His eyes are open and His ears attentive to our prayers. And he says,

2 Chronicles 7: 16-18

For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.

And as for thee, if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded thee, and shalt observe my statutes and my judgement;

Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man to be ruler in Israel.

         Meditating on the above verses sanctifies us so that His name will remain forever and God's eyes and His heart will always be in us. And what the Lord says is that if you walk before me as David did and do all that the Lord has taught you and keep my commandments and my judgment, you will not lack a man to rule Israel, as I made a covenant with your father David, I will establish the throne of your kingdom. These are the commandments and judgements of the Lord our God, and if we follow them faithfully, Christ will reign over us as King forever. But,

2 Chronicles 7: 19-22

 But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them;

Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations.

And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that He shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and unto this house?

And it shall be answered, Because they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath He brought all this evil upon them.

              He says that if you turn away from the Lord and serve and bow down to strange gods in the above manner, I will remove them, who are the holy church, from the community of the Lord and put them as a proverb and a curse word among the people. Then all who pass by the great church  will say what the Lord has done to them. It is understood that because they worshiped and served gods other than the Lord their God, the Lord brought all this harm upon them.

              Beloved, after we become the Lord's church, we must be careful not to deviate from the will and command of the Lord. If we do not guard ourselves, we will become worshipers of strange  gods. God brings evil upon those who do so. Therefore, we will always submit to the Lord as a church to be seen carefully in his thoughts.  Let us commit ourselves like this. Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
