Cleansing of the Mouth and Tongue

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, when we look at the Bible verses that we meditated on in the past days unless God blesses our mouth and tongue we cannot be delivered from the bondage of Egypt. We see that God is showing us this clearly as a pattern through Moses. Moses submitted to God that I am slow of speech and slow of tongue. Therefore, God was a mouth for his mouth and a tongue for his tongue. But Aaron, since he already could speak well, he did not submit his mouth and his tongue to God. Therefore, we see that he gets destroyed quickly. He became the reason for Israel, the church to do sin. So, God became terribly angry with Aaron. In Numbers 20: 23 – 26 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron in Mount Hor by the border of the land of Edom, saying: 

“Aaron shall be gathered to his people, for he shall not enter the land which I have given to the children of Israel, because you rebelled against My word at the water of Meribah. 

Take Aaron and Eleazar his son, and bring them up to Mount Hor; 

and strip Aaron of his garments and put them on Eleazar his son; for Aaron shall be gathered to his people and die there.”

In this manner, just like how God said, Aaron dies in a mount called Hor. Moses removes the garments that he was wearing and puts them on his son Eleazar.

My dear people, God is using Moses and Aaron as a pattern to show us regarding the spiritual life in our lives. That is, if we do not obey the word that God is sending us, which is Christ, our soul dies and we will be gathered in the same place where our forefathers have been laid after their death. But why God is showing us this as a pattern is to show us that our outer body will be alive and our inner body will be dead. But if we listen to the voice of the Son of God, we will live.

Also, our tongue should be a tongue with healing. We must submit our mouth, tongue and lips in the presence of God. Tongue will cause a lot of corruption for us. That is, in James 3: 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell.

James 3: 8 – 11 But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 

With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. 

Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so. 

Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening?

My dear people, read and meditate the above-mentioned God’s verses clearly because the tongue is the one which stains our whole nature. Most of the people will praise with their tongue and with the same tongue they will curse. These types of deeds are there in many servants of God and believers. That is why, God is showing us this clearly through Moses. How is our tongue? Let each one of us in this time analyze their tongue for a minute. It is written that no man can tame the tongue. But God alone can tame our tongue.

And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. If we want to change our tongue from this world to a heaven filled with righteousness just like we put bits in horses’ mouths so that we can turn their whole body and lead them, when we put a bridle for our tongue with God’s word we will turn from the world towards heaven. We must all know that this is the fourth path that turns us and leads us from Egypt, which is the bondage of sin towards Canaan.

That is, in Proverbs 15: 4 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, But perverseness in it breaks the spirit.

My dear people, the tree of life is our Lord Jesus Christ.  Perverse tongue is the devil.

Also, righteousness (heaven) is a wholesome tongue, Unrighteousness (world) is a perverse tongue.

If there is a perverse tongue within us it will crush the spirit of God. Therefore, we must be careful. But if we will be a wholesome tongue, from the words which come from our mouth others soul will be made whole.

If we will be a perverse tongue it will wound others. Therefore,from this we must choose what is good in these days.

Also, the prophet Isaiah is seeing a heavenly vision. He is seeing the heavenly armies worshiping God. Then in Isaiah 6: 5 – 8 So I said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The Lord of hosts.”

Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. 

And he touched my mouth with it, and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity is taken away, And your sin purged.”

Also, I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”

My dear people, in these days if our iniquity should be removed and if we want to live, when God touches our mouth with his fire, which is his word the iniquity in our mouth will be removed and our lips will praise God. The lips which praise God in this manner will never curse. Those lips will always be as a lip of blessing.

In this manner, God tells Moses I will be your mouth and your tongue. God is calling such people only to give his words sincerely and in truth. We must also receive such type of calling and choosing and let us work hard for God in these days.
