“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
1 Corinthians 5: 7 Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
The Separation from Tradition
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we saw that in order to change our traditional life God sent Moses and Aaron to Pharaoh in Egypt and redeemed and saved the Israelites from traditions and showed that as a pattern to us and through the word of God, which is the glorious Christ he showed us miracles and signs but even after that Pharaoh did not send the people of Israel to hold a feast as God desired, he also showed how in our lives our heart is hardened due to Pharaoh’s spirit and how we do not remove and put off the old, which is our traditional life and how God in fierce anger is showing many signs in Egypt. In this manner, in our lives as well, till we put off the old traditions and put on the new things (Christ) our God, just like the plagues that he sent Egypt he does not allow our soul to be comforted. Later when we realize and submit ourselves God brings us to what he thought, that is in the mountain, to hold a feast for him. This is the sign, which is the mountain. (Body of Christ which is the church). We must worship him in spirit and in truth.
But not in one place, if we all put on Christ then the time is coming where we can worship God everywhere, that which was said has already come.
John 4: 20 – 24 Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship.”
Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father.
You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews.
But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
My dear people, all of us should not follow the old traditional cultures, idol worship, vanity which are lies and we see that with the new grace to worship Christ in spirit and in truth God is speaking to the Samaritan woman. For this, God sent our forefathers to Egypt and from there by the word of God he redeemed and saved them, and God is making it clear to us.
Since Pharaoh did not allow God’s people for this, God told Moses in Exodus 7: 15 Go to Pharaoh in the morning, when he goes out to the water, and you shall stand by the river’s bank to meet him; and the rod which was turned to a serpent you shall take in your hand.
‘The Lord God of the Hebrews has sent me to you, saying, “Let My people go, that they may serve Me in the wilderness”; but indeed, until now you would not hear! Therefore, “By this you shall know that I am the Lord. Behold, I will strike the waters which are in the river with the rod that is in my hand, and they shall be turned to blood. And the fish that are in the river shall die, the river shall stink, and the Egyptians will loathe to drink the water of the river.”’”
Then the Lord spoke to Moses, “Say to Aaron, ‘Take your rod and stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt, over their streams, over their rivers, over their ponds, and over all their pools of water, that they may become blood. And there shall be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in buckets of wood and pitchers of stone.’”
And Moses and Aaron did so, just as the Lord commanded. So, he lifted up the rod and struck the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh and in the sight of his servants. And all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.
The fish that were in the river died, the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink the water of the river. So, there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt.
Then the magicians of Egypt did so with their enchantments; and Pharaoh’s heart grew hard
Exodus 7: 23 And Pharaoh turned and went into his house. Neither was his heart moved by this.
So, all the Egyptians dug all around the river for water to drink because they could not drink the water of the river.
And seven days passed after the Lord had struck the river.
My dear people, we must meditate these words of God well. It is written that from our soul a river of water of life, clear as crystal will flow. We, the Israelites, each one of us if we do not leave the traditional life the river running in our soul is the river of Egypt. When God beats it with his rod, all that water becomes blood. The reason for this is that we must be separated for God, by the Spirit of God and worship him. If we do not, our soul is filled with sin and it runs as a river (deeds of Satan). Therefore, the fishes in that river die and the river stinks. Our soul really dies. The wages of sin is death. This is because if we do not obey the word of God and leave the traditions behind and come to God our soul is dead. There is no life in it. Our life stinks before God. But there is no use for the Egyptians with that river.
My dear people, let us think one thing now; Why is God showing us this as a pattern? No one should be in the bondage of Egypt, should not live in the bondage of traditions.
Now, let each one of us see how each person’s soul is. River of Egypt or pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, which is God, the Lamb? In the pure river, vanity will never be there. The river of Egypt is filled with vanity. Let us all think.
Now, even though many people are Christians in their lives and though God beats them in the bondage of Egypt, they do not understand and though they know that the water is not correct, they temporarily stick to it (with Egypt) and will dig a spring. Surely if you will dig a spring, in the banks of the river of Egypt, the deeds of Egypt will come in that spring. That is not useful.
My dear people, God is calling us all to leave the traditional life of Egypt in all our lives and come out. Let us worship God with a separation.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
