“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Deuteronomy 10: 16 Therefore circumcise the foreskin of your heart and be stiff-necked no longer.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

God protects us by not yielding us to pestilence – Church being increased

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon we saw regarding the idol worship of the Egyptians and about the fourth plague that God sent to Egypt using Moses, Aaron where he sent swarms of flies throughout the land of Egypt. But still Pharaoh hardens his heart.

Exodus 9: 1 – 4 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go into Pharaoh and tell him, ‘Thus says the Lord God of the Hebrews: “Let My people go, that they may serve Me.

For if you refuse to let them go, and still hold them,

behold, the hand of the Lord will be on your cattle in the field, on the horses, on the donkeys, on the camels, on the oxen, and on the sheep—a very severe pestilence.

And the Lord will make a difference between the livestock of Israel and the livestock of Egypt. So, nothing shall die of all that belongs to the children of Israel.”’”

Then the Lord appointed a set time, saying, “Tomorrow the Lord will do this thing in the land.”

So, the Lord did this thing on the next day, and all the livestock of Egypt died; but of the livestock of the children of Israel, not one died.

Then Pharaoh sent, and indeed, not even one of the livestock of the Israelites was dead. But the heart of Pharaoh became hard, and he did not let the people go.

Therefore, my dear people, people of God who have been redeemed by God, what God is telling us is that Deuteronomy 6: 10 – 12 “So it shall be, when the Lord your God brings you into the land of which He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give you large and beautiful cities which you did not build,

houses full of all good things, which you did not fill, hewn-out wells which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant—when you have eaten and are full—

then beware, lest you forget the Lord who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

After we have been redeemed, in our soul we must not think or work for the gods of Egypt. We must always fear God and worship only Him.

Deuteronomy 6: 15 (for the Lord your God is a jealous God among you), lest the anger of the Lord your God be aroused against you and destroy you from the face of the earth.

The reason our God becomes angry with us is because we receive blessings from Him and then we follow other gods and we tempt him like how we did at Massah and God does not approve this.

Deuteronomy 6: 17 - 19 You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, His testimonies, and His statutes which He has commanded you.

And you shall do what is right and good in the sight of the Lord, that it may be well with you, and that you may go in and possess the good land of which the Lord swore to your fathers,  to cast out all your enemies from before you, as the Lord has spoken.

Deuteronomy 7: 11 – 14 Therefore you shall keep the commandment, the statutes, and the judgments which I command you today, to observe them.

“Then it shall come to pass, because you listen to these judgments, and keep and do them, that the Lord your God will keep with you the covenant and the mercy which He swore to your fathers.

And He will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flock, in the land of which He swore to your fathers to give you.

You shall be blessed above all peoples; there shall not be a male or female barren among you or among your livestock.

My dear people, all the verses mentioned above are the rules regarding how we should walk in God. Also, God is saying regarding the growth of the church. Growth of the church means our spiritual growth; spiritual growth should take place according to the truth. Only then God will be pleased. Also, if we want the souls to increase, every soul should grow in the truth and from them through Christ (word from the Bible which is the seed) he makes many souls to be produced. That is only the increase. Only if the souls increase in this manner, God will be pleased. They are only God’s children.

Also, the fruit of your land, grain, wine, oil, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flock all these are shown as a pattern of souls.

There shall not be a male or female barren. The reason why God says that each one of us will be blessed in this manner is that if everything are seeds without any weed, then through those seeds God gives us good produce, which is the next seed. In this manner, God makes everyone increase.

Also, if such kind of true growth is present in all of us, he will not yield us to any kind of pestilence.

That is why, in Deuteronomy 7: 15 And the Lord will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you.

Therefore, my dear people if we will tremble and be afraid before God’s word, fear God and walk according to his commandments and laws, God will not submit anyone among us to any pestilence and protect us. Let us be as those who do God’s will and obey.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all.
