“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Hosea 6: 11 Also, O Judah, a harvest is appointed for you, When I return the captives of My people.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

The Reason why God sent the sixth plague upon the Egyptians

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days we meditated about the fifth plague, which was severe pestilence that God sent in Egypt. But if Israelites accept God’s laws, commandments and statues and walk according to them God will safeguard us so that none of the plagues of Egypt will touch us. Also, he will make the Israelites increase, churches will grow and keep increasing.

My dear people, the thing that we should all know is that our God has put and kept a snare in the earth now. The reason for this snare is that through this snare he wants to pull many people towards God. If we realise this in these days and turn towards God, this snare will be removed from the earth by God.

This is because, Israelites are walking according to their own desire and we are transgressing against God. That is, in Amos 4: 4 – 6 “Come to Bethel and transgress, At Gilgal multiply transgression; Bring your sacrifices every morning, Your tithes every three days.

Offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, Proclaim and announce the freewill offerings; For this you love, You children of Israel!” Says the Lord God.

“Also, I gave you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, And lack of bread in all your places; Yet you have not returned to Me,” Says the Lord.

What this explains is that everyone - without removing the traditions, sticking to Egypt, walking according to each person’s desire and also serving God, God is proclaiming lack of bread. This is happening even now.

Also, this kind of traditions and because of walking without leaving the deeds of idols Amos 4: 7 “I also withheld rain from you, when there were still three months to the harvest. I made it rain on one city, I withheld rain from another city. One part was rained upon, and where it did not rain the part withered.

What this word of God means is that for example if one field is growing for harvest and the time is near, if the rain does not come at the right time  and if it does not get the necessary water needed, its plants will be burnt. Through this God is showing and explaining to us regarding the harvest of our soul. God is giving us his meal, that is food so that our soul may eat the meal and grow its growth and when the time comes for harvest due to our unwanted deeds,  God becomes angry and stops the rain (grace). Then it becomes burnt. It may shower on some, but he will not allow it to shower on some others. If that grace does not shower that soul will be weary and burnt and will perish.

Regarding that in Amos 4: 8 So two or three cities wandered to another city to drink water, but they were not satisfied; Yet you have not returned to Me,” Says the Lord.

What this means is that God is talking about those who do not turn to God with their whole mind.

Amos 4: 9, 10 “I blasted you with blight and mildew. When your gardens increased, your vineyards, your fig trees, And your olive trees, The locust devoured them; Yet you have not returned to Me,” Says the Lord.

I sent among you a plague after the manner of Egypt. Your young men I killed with a sword, Along with your captive horses; I made the stench of your camps come up into your nostrils; Yet you have not returned to Me,” Says the Lord.

We must all realize that God is doing all these things among the Israelites only because they are doing the deeds of Egypt. In these days, all the things mentioned in the Bible is happening. Therefore, all the dear people who are reading this, with our whole mind let us all put away our old life and let us repent today itself. Then God will save all of us.

But if our heart becomes hardened in all these things, then that is the heart of Pharaoh. Even though God sent the fifth plague, Pharaoh did not allow Israel, the church to go for worship. Again, his heart was hardened.

Exodus 9: 8 So the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Take for yourselves handfuls of ashes from a furnace and let Moses scatter it toward the heavens in the sight of Pharaoh.

And it will become fine dust in all the land of Egypt, and it will cause boils that break out in sores on man and beast throughout all the land of Egypt.”

Then they took ashes from the furnace and stood before Pharaoh, and Moses scattered them toward heaven. And they caused boils that break out in sores on man and beast. And the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils, for the boils were on the magicians and on all the Egyptians.

But the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh; and he did not heed them, just as the Lord had spoken to Moses.

God is doing this to break the heart of the Egyptians. But God is hardening the heart of Pharaoh. God is doing in this manner so that they will believe with their whole heart.

My dear people, if we will submit ourselves in the presence of God with a broken heart Jeremiah 31: 40 And the whole valley of the dead bodies and of the ashes, and all the fields as far as the Brook Kidron, to the corner of the Horse Gate toward the east, shall be holy to the Lord. It shall not be plucked up or thrown down anymore forever.”

Therefore, my dear people, brothers who are meditating on the word of God let us submit ourselves now itself so that our whole soul will be made holy.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all.
