“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 143: 8 Cause me to hear Your loving kindness in the morning, For in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

Early morning worship of Israelites – Egyptians destroyed

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days though God sent the plagues to Egypt, Pharaoh hardened his heart and Pharaoh did not send the people to worship God. We see that he caused the sixth plague, which were boils to break out on everyone in Egypt. That is, he took handfuls of ashes from a furnace, and Moses scattered it towards the heavens. He did as God told him. Therefore, on everything in Egypt boils that break out in sores appeared. God is doing this to make all the people and all the land holy so that they will not be broken down or plucked forever and everyone will have the fear of God. But he is hardening the heart of Pharaoh. Pharaoh did not listen to Moses.

Exodus 9: 13 – 18 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Rise early in the morning and stand before Pharaoh, and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord God of the Hebrews: “Let My people go, that they may serve Me,

for at this time I will send all My plagues to your very heart, and on your servants and on your people, that you may know that there is none like Me in all the earth.

Now if I had stretched out My hand and struck you and your people with pestilence, then you would have been cut off from the earth.

But indeed, for this purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.

As yet you exalt yourself against My people in that you will not let them go.

Behold, tomorrow about this time I will cause very heavy hail to rain down, such as has not been in Egypt since its founding until now.

My dear people, God is using Egypt and is showing us as a pattern that our past, the sinful traditions that we had in our olden times as Egypt, and the king that ruled it was Pharaoh. But God sent his powerful sceptre and destroyed our sinful traditional idol worship and worldly worship and folded them up as a cloak and established there the righteousness, who is Christ, who does not change forever and in order for us to worship God in spirit and in truth, through Christ, God showed Egypt and Pharaoh as a pattern.

Pharaoh signifies the hardened heart that does not allow us to worship God with a true heart. Therefore, God is making us holy in every thought to make our whole-body holy we see that God is hardening the heart. When they tell him to let Israel, the church go to worship God we see that Moses and Aaron are saying that there is only three days journey. These three days shows the resurrection of Christ. Our soul is Israel. Regarding Israel, we see that God says he is my son, my firstborn. God’s son is our Lord Jesus Christ. That is Israel, the church. This church is the resurrected Christ. As a pattern to the resurrected Christ is the redemption of Israelites from Egypt. God hardens Pharaoh’s heart and he does not allow this and till he submits completely to God, God sends plagues to Egypt. This is for a complete submission to come within our soul.

In this manner, since our heart does not give place to serve God with our whole soul and whole mind, God is telling Moses to go early in the morning to Pharaoh.

This is for, if our soul becomes well in the early morning, we will be able to be delivered from the deeds of Pharaoh. Also, he will give more of his power in our soul. God will remove all the bad deeds that do not allow us to worship in spirit.

Also, my dear people in the early morning, God fights for us. Exodus 14: 24 – 30 Now it came to pass, in the morning watch, that the Lord looked down upon the army of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and cloud, and He troubled the army of the Egyptians.

And He took off their chariot wheels, so that they drove them with difficulty; and the Egyptians said, “Let us flee from the face of Israel, for the Lord fights for them against the Egyptians.”

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the waters may come back upon the Egyptians, on their chariots, and on their horsemen.”

And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and when the morning appeared, the sea returned to its full depth, while the Egyptians were fleeing into it. So, the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.

Then the waters returned and covered the chariots, the horsemen, and all the army of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them. Not so much as one of them remained.

But the children of Israel had walked on dry land in the midst of the sea, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.

So, the Lord saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore.

My dear people, all the verses mentioned above is a pattern in the Old Testament regarding how our soul should be redeemed for Christ. That is, when sin increases in our heart, all the traditional deeds that we do is the hardening of our heart. In order to save us from this, through Christ, he is showing us the way. In order for our soul to die to sin and live unto righteousness, to show us the way God is sending the plagues.

In the early morning, God is fighting for us. Water, which is Christ (word of God) is the one who removes the deeds of the Egyptians which are following us. Through that, God is removing it from us. That is the water which destroys the armies of Egypt. This is our old sinful characters, tradition, worldly status, fame of the world – all these things are destroyed by him with Christ’s words. And the Egyptians are dead on the seashore which means when God meets our soul with his word, the dead deeds which are in our soul, who are the wicked are being destroyed. In this manner, Christ (word of God) receives life in our soul. Then we can reach the other shore and glorify God. God is showing this as a pattern for us to worship the living resurrected Christ. If these things happen in our soul, only then we will receive salvation. In this manner, Israelites are being saved.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all.
