“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 147: 18 He sends out His word and melts them; He causes His wind to blow, and the waters flow.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

Israelites washing their garments – as a pattern

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days we see that God sent the seventh plague upon Egypt. We see that hail, thunder, fire on the ground are as plagues for Egypt. But we can read from the verses in the Bible that even among the Israelites there is such a judgement. Exodus 19: 10 – 15 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow and let them wash their clothes.

And let them be ready for the third day. For on the third day the Lord will come down upon Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.

You shall set bounds for the people all around, saying, ‘Take heed to yourselves that you do not go up to the mountain or touch its base. Whoever touches the mountain shall surely be put to death.

Not a hand shall touch him, but he shall surely be stoned or shot with an arrow; whether man or beast, he shall not live.’ When the trumpet sounds long, they shall come near the mountain.”

So, Moses went down from the mountain to the people and sanctified the people, and they washed their clothes.

And he said to the people, “Be ready for the third day; do not come near your wives.”

God is telling Moses in this manner. The third day is showing us a pattern of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is because for the people to sanctify themselves these are important things. That is, in the first two days if they will listen to the word of God and accept them in their souls and if they will glorify God, then on the third day, the reviving of the soul will surely be seen. That is why in Hosea 6: 1 – 3 Come and let us return to the Lord; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up.

After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight.

Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and former rain to the earth.

My dear people, when Father God sends our Lord Jesus Christ, his words into our soul, his glorious Christ is resurrected in our soul and our dead soul is rising with Christ. Then we shall be alive in his presence.

After this only we will gain knowledge and go pursuing God. Then Christ’s going forth is established as the morning in our soul. Then it rains on us as the latter and the former rain. This is only our journey of faith. This is what God is using Moses and showing us as a pattern the leaving of Israelites from Egypt and therefore he says, “Send my son, my firstborn”.

Even among Israelites he is doing this thing with a judgement. He is putting certain laws. That is, people should not climb the mountain and that he warned that no one should touch its base and he says that whoever touches the mountain shall surely be put to death.

So, Moses went down from the mountain to the people and sanctified the people, and they washed their clothes.

How they are sanctifying themselves is that – he is telling everyone to come to the base of the mountain and they are washing their clothes. He is showing this as a pattern to our Lord Jesus Christ. That is, that Mount Sinai (Christ), God’s word is Christ, Christ’s word is his blood. In this manner, before Christ comes into our soul, God is descending among the people of Israel in Mount Sinai visibly. There is a big judgement is also taking place. We must walk very carefully in our lives.

Here, with God’s words, the clothes are being washed. What is being told to those who wash the clothes is that – “Be ready for the third day; do not come near your wives.”

From this we come to know that if we will truly listen to the voice of God then our soul will rise on the third day.

Also, he is showing that those who have washed their clothes should not make stains in their lives. Then it came to pass on the third day, in the morning, that there were thundering’s and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain; and the sound of the trumpet was very loud, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled.

Exodus 19: 17 And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain.

These things, in our journey of faith, through Christ is the experience of the former rain and latter rain and going to meet the bridegroom. That is why, God sent our Lord Jesus Christ to the world, allowed him to experience suffering, crucified him on the cross, he died, was buried and resurrected on the third day and after that appeared to many people and after that on the day of Pentecost he came and descended visibly.  This is what God tells us as that God gives us the experience of the former and latter rain and we must be watchful (heart) and go to meet him.

Therefore, our Lord Jesus Christ says destroy this temple and in three days I will build the temple again. Jesus is telling this regarding his body. In this manner, he is making us all a temple. This is what the journey of three days becomes forty years because hardening of the heart.

Therefore, those who believed and accepted Christ are washing their garments in his blood. In this manner, we must put our foundation on the rock. Those who have put their foundation on the rock are those who have put a firm foundation.

2 Timothy 2: 19 Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”

My dear people, for the solid foundation to stand we must all leave and depart from iniquity. Let us submit ourselves.

. May the Lord bless you all abundantly. Let us pray
