Locusts – Eighth Plague – Their Activities

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated on in the past days we have been meditating regarding the plagues which God is sending. The eighth plague that was sent to Egypt is Locusts. When God makes the east wind blow, locusts fill the land. The spiritual meaning of this is that those who have the deeds of Egypt in their soul it fills all their soul. But if they come in our soul, they eat the fruits that we have received. Whatever the locust will do in the outside world, the same thing it will do in the inside world mainly if the world is in our soul also if the sinful traditional life is there, it will eat the fruits. In this manner, it will eat the fruits of our heart. Then we will not have goodness in our soul. Also, our soul will result in death.  When God sent locusts to Egypt, Pharaoh tells Moses please forgive my sin.  He requested that this death only may be taken away from him. Then Moses went and pleaded to God and the Lord turned a very strong west wind, which took the locusts away and blew them into the Red Sea. East wind means the wind from hell and west wind is the wind from heaven. That is –

Revelation 8: 13 And I looked, and I heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!”

Trumpet signifies the word of God. When we say the inhabitants of the earth, all those who have not received complete salvation in their souls, whoever it may be, woe, woe, woe to them (danger will come) here a sound of warning is being heard. The angel flying through the midst of heaven is our Lord Jesus Christ. He is telling us about the trumpet which is being blown in the hearts of the people (word of God).

Revelation 9: 1 Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit.

The reason for a saved soul to fall down is that whether in traditional life or in worldly worship or in idol worship, when a situation arises without thinking about his salvation, when he lives stuck to the traditional life of his ancestors he falls down. God says that he is a fallen star. The key to the bottomless pit was given to that star. (Key is prayer)

Revelation 9: 2 – 4 And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So, the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. 

Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. 

They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.

When we read these verses, we see that the locusts were given permission to harm men. If we see whom – Those who do not have the seal of God. These locusts are a plague. If we see from where they are coming, what harms man comes from within man. That is, man’s evil heart is the bottomless pit (hell). The bottomless pit is being opened with the key which was in his hand. Then if all the evil deeds that he has done, activities of Egypt and abominations are in his soul, when he opens it with the key of the bottomless pit, because of the smoke of the pit the sun and the air were darkened. The reason is that the little light that was within them was lost. Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth (in the soul). But it does not destroy those who have the seal of God.

My dear people, Grass signifies people. Trees signifies souls. 

Also, in the world seen outside, just like how plagues were sent before to Egypt, in these days God has sent locusts. Just like how it covered the earth and just like how it destroys and eats the plants in the same way in our soul, the plague that was sent which are the locusts not only eats the main parts of our body but it also destroys our fruits and harms man. 

Therefore, my dear people, we must all have God’s seal on us.

These are the things which God does to save man which he revealed to John in the island of Patmos.

Revelation 9: 7 The shape of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle. On their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men.

Revelation 9: 16 – 20 Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them. 

And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone. 

By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed—by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths.  

For their power is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm.

But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk. 

Revelation 9: 21 And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.

My dear people, all of you please think once. The reason why the locusts come upon the earth and destroy the plants is due to the iniquity that man does on the earth, God gets angry and gives the key of the bottomless pit. Because of that key, due to man only all these things happen.

Also, when people repent truthfully but do not worship God but because they are worshipping idols the key of the bottomless pit is given.

From this we must know that it is in our soul that pestilence arises. And due to evil teachings God is ordering it to spread. If we will repent we will be saved from the pestilence.
