“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Psalms 13: 6 I will sing to the Lord, because He has dealt bountifully with me.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
Falling down and worshipping the Lamb
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated regarding the song that Miriam answered and sang when the Israelites were redeemed from Egypt. We see that God is showing us as a pattern in the sea regarding how the Lord triumphed gloriously and how they sang regarding the horse and rider of Egypt that were thrown in the sea, and this is the salvation of each one of our soul and the deliverance from the life of wickedness.
Where this is happening is– in our heart. Because the thoughts, deeds and everything in that are wicked like the sea, God breaks the door of our heart (hardened heart), breaks it through the Lion of the tribe of Judah, our Lord Jesus Christ and removes Pharaoh and his armies and all our worldly infatuations, lusts, pride, evil doings and delivers us and makes us take the baptism of the new covenant in his blood along with Christ and God unites us along with Him and we see that he teaches us to walk in his path.
There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
What is being said regarding the resurrected Christ is that – Revelation 5: 6 – 10 And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.
Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
And have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth.”
My dear people, the purpose of redeeming Israel, the church from Egypt and showing us as a pattern are the above-mentioned verses. If an understanding of sin appears within us, surely God will open our heart. Baptism is the new covenant that we take through Christ blood; that is a fellowship with God. We meditated regarding this in the past days. Then a Lamb as though it had been slain (resurrected Christ) in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, is seen having seven horns and seven eyes.
That is, seven horns show seven authorities. The seven eyes are the seven Spirits sent out into all the earth.
In this manner, since he supported the seven authorities in his arm, he took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.
When He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
The explanation of this is that Christ is buying us for a price. 1 Corinthians 6: 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
When God sent his angel and revealed to John, he is showing clearly regarding how his children are possessing salvation. This is happening in the island of Patmos.
He is showing us clearly that because we are bought at a price, we must worship with our harps and with holiness and prayer before God by submitting our whole heart. Along with us, the Old Testament twenty-four elders and the prayers of the saints, that is holding the golden bowls full of incense in their hands, fell down before the Lamb and worshipped him.
That is, when our Lord Jesus Christ gave up his spirit on the cross then the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split,
and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;
My dear people, during the death of Jesus Christ only the holy saints of the Old Testament were raised. Till that time, they rested in the graves only. But till the resurrection of Jesus Christ, they did not enter the kingdom of heaven.
After the resurrection of Jesus Christ only, they came out of their graves and went into the holy city and appeared to many. That is why, God is revealing this to John in the island of Patmos.
In the past (in the Old Testament) till the veil was torn no one could go near the Father (throne of grace). When Jesus Christ gave up his spirit for us only the veils tore. All of us through Christ can go near the throne of grace. That is why, the Lamb that was slain had received authority to open the scroll (our heart). Therefore, one of the elders is saying there, “Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.” After receiving such authority, he is seated in the right hand of God, the Father. Therefore, the prayers of all the Old Testament holy saints, incenses; were held by the twenty-four elders in the golden bowls. After the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we must know that the mediator for everything is Jesus Christ. For through Jesus Christ we have received the access to the Father. We must always praise and sing about our God who has redeemed us in this manner.
Let us pray.
May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
