Daily Worship to God

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, during the journey of Israel the church, when they came to the Wilderness of Shur the people did not have water. After that they came to Marah. The water of Marah was bitter for them. So, Moses cried out to the Lord. Then the Lord showed Moses a tree. As soon as he cast it into the waters, it became sweet.

From this what we know is that if our life is a bitter life, if Christ (word of God) who is sweet comes into our life he will make it sweet. As a living water which does not dry up, he keeps showering living water in our soul. We shall not have thirst, hunger, the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat. This is because those who are redeemed from the bondage of sin (Egypt) should walk according to the commandments, statues and ordinances that God has commanded, put on white garments and should worship the one on the throne, that is the Lamb.

If we will obey God in this manner, we see that there will be twelve wells of water and seventy palm trees there.

The place that Israel the church comes is that Exodus 15: 27 Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve wells of water and seventy palm trees; so, they camped there by the waters.

And they journeyed from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came to the Wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after they departed from the land of Egypt.

The place that they reached was the Wilderness of Sin. Therefore, they did not get proper food. This is because they did not reach the place that they were supposed to reach. It was two months and fifteen days. God is showing these things as a pattern, that is after we have taken immersion baptism, in our journey of faith if we do not go and reach the correct place to glorify God and if we do not come into the correct truth, our life will be in poverty. Immediately difficulties will come in our life. That is what God’s word says here – Exodus 16: 2, 3 Then the whole congregation of the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness. 

And the children of Israel said to them, “Oh, that we had died by the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the pots of meat and when we ate bread to the full! For you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger.”

This is how many people will think. Once we take immersion baptism, they may think that there are no more difficulties, we can live well, we can eat, we can live with all the comforts and such things. But that is a wrong opinion. Once we receive baptism and if we obey the word of God and if we walk according to his laws, commandments, and precepts, then we are blessed, they will change into holy people. They will leave all the comforts of the world and will suffer for God.  This is because the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. They will consider the heavenly life as great.

Therefore, to the Israel church who murmured what God says is that Exodus 16: 4 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you. And the people shall go out and gather a certain quota every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in My law or not.

But God is showering this bread from heaven only. But he is telling that it should be collected daily. The meaning of this is that the bread that came down from heaven we must receive daily from the presence of God. We come to know that the bread are the words regarding the righteous statues.

But God says it shall be on the sixth day that they shall prepare what they bring in, and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily. 

This is because he had said to rest on the seventh day so we see that for the bread that is needed on the seventh day he says to gather twice as much as they gather daily on the sixth day. But our Lord Jesus Christ (bread) said this before he came to the world. But after he came to the world, we can read in the gospel that he did many miracles and signs. Our God created everything in six days and after he had ended all his works that he had made, because he rested on that day, God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it. The fact regarding this is that because he rested on that day means according to the works, in the works it signifies Christ.  The seventh day signifies Christ. God sanctified it. That is why the seventh day is said as the holy day.

That is what our Lord Jesus Christ is telling I am the bread of life. Therefore, now everyday (daily) has become days that we offer worship to God. Therefore, we must worship daily, and we must eat the heavenly manna daily.

That is, our Lord Jesus Christ because he was sacrificed as the Passover lamb, he is our bread of life. That is what is written in the Old Testament as the bread which came down from heaven.

Luke 24: 46 – 53 Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 

And you are witnesses of these things. 

Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.”

And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. 

Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and carried up into heaven. 

And they worshiped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, and were continually in the temple praising and blessing God. Amen.

In this manner, Our Lord Jesus Christ was taken up to heaven so that we should worship God daily, exalt, praise, and glorify him. Let us submit ourselves.
