“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Luke 21: 37, 38 And in the daytime, He was teaching in the temple, but at night He went out and stayed on the mountain called Olivet.
Then early in the morning all the people came to Him in the temple to hear Him.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
Worshipping God in the morning and evening
(Christ appearing in the clouds)
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we must worship God daily and we must receive food, which is bread from God daily.
When we meditate upon the portion in the Old Testament, our forefathers ate manna. But they died. But our Lord Jesus Christ says I am the bread of life. He says that he who eats me will not die forever.
That is why in John 6: 54 – 58 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.
For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed.
He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.
As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me.
This is the bread which came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”
My dear people, the bread which came down from heaven is Christ. That is why, he is saying in John 6: 48 I am the bread of life.
Also, the Israelites crossed the sea and came to Elim. There were twelve wells of water and seventy palm trees. (We will meditate the meaning of this in the next days if God wills).
But in the Wilderness of Sin because their food became less, they began murmuring against Moses and Aaron. Also, they are remembering Egypt, which they left and came. God who heard this told Moses “Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you. Gather a certain quota every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in My law or not.
And it shall be on the sixth day that they shall prepare what they bring in, and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.”
Moses and Aaron said to all the children of Israel, “At evening you shall know that the Lord has brought you out of the land of Egypt. And in the morning you shall see the glory of the Lord; for He hears your complaints against the Lord. But what are we, that you complain against us?”
Also Moses said, “This shall be seen when the Lord gives you meat to eat in the evening, and in the morning bread to the full; for the Lord hears your complaints which you make against Him. And what are we? Your complaints are not against us but against the Lord.”
Then Moses spoke to Aaron, “Say to all the congregation of the children of Israel, ‘Come near before the Lord, for He has heard your complaints.’”
Now it came to pass, as Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and behold, the glory of the Lord appeared in the cloud.
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “I have heard the complaints of the children of Israel. Speak to them, saying, ‘At twilight you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread. And you shall know that I am the Lord your God.’”
My dear people, we must know that every word of God written in this is for each one of us. When God redeemed the Israelites from Pharaoh, he did many miracles through his powerful rod and showed them so that the Israelites will not think of Egypt hereafter and this is a deed that the sons of Israel saw. But in the journey when they had little difficulty, he did not think of the difficulties they faced in Egypt and they said that they ate meat there and also by many words we see that they murmured against God.
Still we see that God manifests his power here. Many among us, mainly the servants of God when their comforts, food become less they speak whatever comes to their mouth and murmur. They do not think about the Saviour who delivered them and for the sake of comforts and pleasures they murmur against God.
Dear people, hearing our murmuring, God pretends to satisfy us and surely God will punish us. God is keeping our murmurings countable. Please think. How many times from the time we started the journey of faith have we murmured, think, and see? Our God who has lead us; when he is leading us through servants of God thinking that we are speaking against the servants of God we speak casually. We must realize that we are murmuring against God.
The God who heard the murmurings made them see the glory of the Lord in the cloud. The glory of the Lord signifies Christ. Then, even in the portion of the Old Testament Christ is appearing in the clouds. Today our soul is the firmament (cloud) and he appears in that.
Also, he says at twilight you shall eat meat, and in the morning, you shall be filled with bread. And you shall know that I am the Lord your God.’” From this we come to know that we must come to the presence of God in the twilight and in the morning. We must come and glorify God.
Exodus 16: 13 – 15 So it was that quail came up at evening and covered the camp, and in the morning the dew lay all around the camp.
And when the layer of dew lifted, there, on the surface of the wilderness, was a small round substance, as fine as frost on the ground.
So, when the children of Israel saw it, they said to one another, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, “This is the bread which the Lord has given you to eat.
This bread is shown as a pattern to our Lord Jesus Christ. This was found on the ground. This ground is our soul, which is the world. Without anyone knowing what this is, this bread is found as fine as frost in our soul. This is only the word of God, who is Christ (Glory of the Lord).
That is what is written as “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” When this comes into our soul is that when God creates us and when God breathes his breath of life into our nostrils; it is written that man became a living being. When he forms us itself, this word, which is Christ is in our soul. But by doing sin because our soul perishes Christ’s glory is not able to shine as the god of this age has blinded our minds.
My dear people, that is why in God’s word in Deuteronomy 30: 11 – 14 “For this commandment which I command you today is not too mysterious for you, nor is it far off.
It is not in heaven, that you should say, ‘Who will ascend into heaven for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?’
Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, ‘Who will go over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?’
But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.
My dear people, when God has created us and kept us in this manner what is the reason for us to fear? We should not fear for anything. If we will open our soul we will be able to see all goodness.
Let us pray.
May the Lord bless you all.
