Israel church destroys the Amalekites and Christ sits on the throne
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated regarding how the Amalekites came for war against Israel, the church. The reason is that because Israel, the church tempted God so God is allowing Amalek to fight against Israel. The reason for this is, it is written in the Old Testament that for the mistakes that are being done by our forefathers the generations are suffering. Due to the tempting of our forefathers at that time, the Amalekites were against the throne from generation to generation. Therefore, that throne should be reigned by God’s son Christ forever. God is showing us clearly through the words in the Bible that in the soul of all the generations the reign of Christ is there. That is why, it is written that Moses said to Aaron, “Take a pot and put an omer of manna in it, and lay it up before the Lord, to be kept for your generations. This manna was given to Israel, the church in the wilderness. This manna is only (Christ). In the midst of those who ate this manna, Christ is there. But he is showing us with a pattern because generations will possess it. As a living river which quenches our thirst forever, Christ (Rock) is manifested. But since water was less for the Israelites, he is telling them to beat the rock (as a pattern). But for us he is Christ who was beaten, died, buried, and resurrected. He descended within us as the Holy Spirit, the bride and destroyed all the things of the Amalekites and he is established on the throne forever.
What this signifies is that, through Samuel God anointed Saul as the king for Israel. But Samuel is telling Saul in 1 Samuel 15: 2, 3 Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘I will punish Amalek for what he did to Israel, how he ambushed him on the way when he came up from Egypt.
Now go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them. But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’”
So, Saul gathered the people together and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred thousand-foot soldiers and ten thousand men of Judah.
And Saul attacked the Amalekites, from Havilah all the way to Shur, which is east of Egypt.
1 Samuel 15: 8, 9 He also took Agag king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.
But Saul and the people spared Agag and the best of the sheep, the oxen, the fatlings, the lambs, and all that was good, and were unwilling to utterly destroy them. But everything despised and worthless, that they utterly destroyed.
The Lord who saw this told Samuel, “I greatly regret that I have set up Saul as king, for he has turned back from following Me, and has not performed My commandments.” And it grieved Samuel, and he cried out to the Lord all night.
In this manner, many of us without destroying the things which are in the first place in our heart, just for saying that they are Christians superficially they will destroy everything that is despised and worthless. They will not destroy the expensive things of the world and the things that they consider great in their soul. In this manner, people disobey God like Saul they are cheating him. But Saul could not cheat God. That is, the thing that Saul did he is telling Samuel. In the same way we also cannot cheat God.
That is why, Lord God crucified all things, all the things of the Amalekites along with Christ on the cross and made him resurrect. Later he revives us by his spirit, and he unites us with God through Christ.
Therefore, in our heart no evil thoughts or gold or silver or expensive things, or infants, or nursing children, or relatives and friends or job or position or family and great things according to the world everything along with Christ all our fleshly thoughts should be crucified on the cross, and only along with Christ’s righteousness, which is the word of God we must live. Then God will destroy all the deeds of Amalek and Christ’s throne will be established forever in us. Let us all submit ourselves to change in this manner.
Let us pray.
