Psalms 121: 7 The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.

Discernment is necessary for us

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past day, because the great Babylon harlot (decorations of the world, pomp, worldly lusts, pleasures and many kinds of sinful desires) is there in our soul for establishing Christ’s kingdom God allows a judgement unto repentance for the great harlot and also in the past few days we have been meditating that for those who do not follow God’s laws, commandments and statues and are walking according to their own desire he gives the same judgement. If we will lust in such deeds of the world, we are far away from God. That is in Psalms 119: 150 They draw near who follow after wickedness; they are far from Your law.

Those who follow wickedness means those who fulfil the deeds of (dragon – great Babylon harlot). They are nearing her. But they become far away from God’s law.

Due to the judgement mainly if we were to say (if the bowls of wrath are poured in our soul) many pains will occur in us. But if we will think about it and walk in the truth and in order to walk in the path of righteousness, we must renew our mind and humble ourselves and must obey the voice of God. That is what in Psalms 120: 1 – 7 In my distress I cried to the Lord, And He heard me.

Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips and from a deceitful tongue.

What shall be given to you, or what shall be done to you, you false tongue?

Sharp arrows of the warrior, with coals of the broom tree!

Woe is me, that I dwell in Meshech, that I dwell among the tents of Kedar!

My soul has dwelt too long with one who hates peace.

I am for peace; but when I speak, they are for war.

In this manner, if we will submit ourselves in God’s presence, God will fight against the warrior for us and will overcome the war. We are reading in God’s word that our soul is a battle ground. Since our soul is the city of the great harlot and is stuck in many desires and without peace so that war is beginning there. Our soul is the great Babylon harlot and her multitude of people will dwell in her soul.  To overcome her, our Lord Jesus Christ comes here (our soul) with a multitude of army with his holy people. 

That is what in Psalms 55: 18 – 23 He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, for there were many against me.

God will hear, and afflict them, Even He who abides from of old. Selah Because they do not change, therefore they do not fear God.

He has put forth his hands against those who were at peace with him; He has broken his covenant.

The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart; His words were softer than oil, Yet they were drawn swords.

Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

But You, O God, shall bring them down to the pit of destruction; Bloodthirsty and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; But I will trust in You.

If we walk in righteousness, God will sustain us. Those who walk against God’s righteousness and justice how should they submit themselves? What kind of appearances are there in their soul? Why are they breaking the covenant? God is teaching us these things by giving this song of Psalms in the mouth of the Psalmist. If we say our heart is in war, many deeds of the harlot are destroying our peace. In this manner only many believers, servants of God, people of God everyone’s words from their mouth are smoother than butter; therefore, people are unable to see the difference and are falling down. The harlot, the crowd of the great Babylon harlot will take them to the chambers of death.

Therefore, in the song of Psalms God’s word says The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart; His words were softer than oil, Yet they were drawn swords.

My dear people, if there are the deeds of Babylon in our soul only those who are walking spiritually in the path of truth and only if we have the discernment from God, we will be able to know this. Otherwise, we will not be able to know. The reason is that while talking they will talk cunningly. That is why in Proverbs 5: 1 – 6 My son, pay attention to my wisdom; Lend your ear to my understanding,

That you may preserve discretion, and your lips may keep knowledge.

For the lips of an immoral woman drip honey, and her mouth is smoother than oil;

But in the end, she is bitter as wormwood, Sharp as a two-edged sword.

Her feet go down to death, her steps lay hold of hell.

Lest you ponder her path of life— Her ways are unstable; You do not know them.

Therefore, we must always take care to walk carefully and if we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, God will safeguard us everyday in the path of truth so that we do not falter, so that our feet do not stumble he will protect us in everything. In this manner, let all of us analyze ourselves, submit ourselves and pray.
