Oholah – Samaria

Deeds of the Gentiles

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past day, we meditated regarding how we must be holy in the hands of God and that if the world is there in our soul wickedness will dwell within us and will continuously instigate us to do iniquity upon iniquity and her deeds are the land of Shinar (Babylon), she will establish the house there and she will be a hindrance for us to be filled with glory, which is God’s house. Therefore, we must be very careful and watchful so that we do not get caught in her hands and we meditated that we must submit ourselves in Christ’s hands.

My dear people, people of God who are reading this, we are all very hopeful in Christ that all of you would have read this, analysed and known yourselves, repented and are renewed. If you do so surely you will be blessed.

Also, the world (traditions, cultures, worship of the world, fleshly deeds, lusts of the flesh, lusts of the eyes, lusts in thoughts of the heart, sinful infatuations, deeds of the devil) we should leave all these things and if we will be with Christ by his blood with a new covenant then we must change spiritually according to him in God’s word, in his laws, commandments, statues, precepts and we must obey and walk in all these things. 

Also, in the portion that we meditated upon in the past day, we see that the basket was being lifted up between the heaven and the earth by two women. That basket signifies the important things that we must know that is regarding our soul and its wicked deeds and how God is angry over it and that it is being sent to the land of Shinar.

These two women show the church. Just like how God made the children of Israel as the bride, the church; those who are doing deeds of the world, wicked deeds their traditional church (bride the church) is Oholah and Oholibah. These two are Samaria, Jerusalem. They are those who do fleshly deeds which are evil deeds. They will tell God’s words only, but they will not function according to it in deeds and will do the things of foreign gods. Regarding them God is saying

Ezekiel 23: 5 – 9 “Oholah played the harlot even though she was Mine; and she lusted for her lovers, the neighboring Assyrians,

Who were clothed in purple, Captains and rulers, All of them desirable young men, Horsemen riding on horses.

Thus, she committed her harlotry with them, all of them choice men of Assyria; And with all for whom she lusted, with all their idols, she defiled herself.

She has never given up her harlotry brought from Egypt, For in her youth they had lain with her, Pressed her virgin bosom, And poured out their immorality upon her. 

“Therefore, I have delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, for whom she lusted.

My dear people, Oholah means Samaria and Samaria signifies Gentiles and in the bride church in our soul there are the deeds of the Gentiles and as soon as we were saved first, we who were reconciled and in fellowship with God because the deeds of our soul were wicked and full of poison, because God did not destroy the dragon, beast (because we did not submit our spirit, soul and body completely) and because we took the covenant with Christ’s blood so in our lives if any circumstances or any thing related to traditions come, the dragon, beast deceives us and does not allow the word of God and its truth to appear in our soul and will make us careless and we will go towards the Egypt which we have left and come, if we have to say the sinful traditional habits (thinking that we have to please man or else to fulfil our desires). That is why God is saying that Oholah played the harlot even though she was mine. Therefore, in the hands of the Assyrians which whom she had contact, in the hands of the sons of the Assyrians whom she lusted upon, I have delivered her says the Lord.

That is, the word that God told the prophet Ezekiel is that Ezekiel 31: 2 “Son of man, say to Pharaoh king of Egypt and to his multitude: ‘Whom are you like in your greatness?

Indeed, Assyria was a cedar in Lebanon, with fine branches that shaded the forest, and of high stature; and its top was among the thick boughs.

If we will do the deeds of Egypt, if God will give us into the hands of the Assyrian, how the Assyrian grows in the world and because he is growing with the decorations of the world many gentiles are gathered in its shadow. All the people are keeping their hope on him. In that manner, multitude of people became his people.

Ezekiel 31: 7 – 8 ‘Thus it was beautiful in greatness and in the length of its branches, because its roots reached to abundant waters.

The cedars in the garden of God could not hide it; The fir trees were not like its boughs, and the chestnut trees were not like its branches; No tree in the garden of God was like it in beauty.

My dear people, cedar, fir trees, chestnut trees all these show the souls. All these are growing up with decorations. But none of the trees of Eden was like it. Therefore, the trees of Eden were jealous over them.

Ezekiel 31: 10, 11 “Therefore thus says the Lord God: ‘Because you have increased in height, and it set its top among the thick boughs, and its heart was lifted up in its height, 

therefore, I will deliver it into the hand of the mighty one of the nations, and he shall surely deal with it; I have driven it out for its wickedness. 

My dear people, the mighty one of the nations is Babylon. He is delivering them in his hands and Oholah becomes naked. God is making her naked.

From this we must know that all those who have decorations of the world, lusts, infatuations are all naked. The one who is lifting the basket, when she is naked; the basket who are those with world in their soul are naked. But we must be careful that our nakedness is not seen.
