The Appearances of the Dwelling Place

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past day, we are able to read that God is showing Moses a pattern regarding how we must make the dwelling place and is showing as a pattern what all must be there in that dwelling place and is explaining how our soul, which is the Holy Spirit, the bride the church should be decorated. 

But today the facts that we are going to meditate upon are that we saw that God looked at Moses and told him regarding the offering that the people had to offer. God is accepting the heart which is given as an offering with the whole mind with a joyful mind. In that offering, few things are the things necessary to make the dwelling place. 

God is telling in Exodus 26: 1 “Moreover you shall make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine woven linen and blue, purple, and scarlet thread; with artistic designs of cherubim you shall weave them. 

God is telling to make the dwelling place with ten curtains because the ten curtains are the ten virgins which God has given us as a parable. These ten curtains should be woven together by God’s love (by commandments). That is, the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Along with this, our thanksgiving of praise, which are the cherubims should be there.

Exodus 26: 3, 4 Five curtains shall be coupled to one another, and the other five curtains shall be coupled to one another. 

And you shall make loops of blue yarn on the edge of the curtain on the selvedge of one set, and likewise you shall do on the outer edge of the other curtain of the second set.

Curtain signifies an important appearance of the dwelling place, the virgin. In these he is telling that you shall make loops of blue yarn on the edge of the curtain. He is telling that in the edges of the other five curtains make loops.

In the dwelling place, five curtains shall be coupled to one another, and he is telling to make fifty loops in each curtain to be clasped to one another, he is also telling to make fifty loops on the edge of the other five curtains that are coupled to one another.

The loops that are clasped means our soul being united along with the Holy Spirit.

Also, in Exodus 26: 6 And you shall make fifty clasps of gold, and couple the curtains together with the clasps, so that it may be one tabernacle.

Ephesians 2: 19 – 22 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 

having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, 

in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 

in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

Virgin is Israel, the church, which is our soul, which is being built and raised by the cornerstone, which is Christ. That as a virgin (the bride, which is the Holy Spirit) with an experience of burning as a lamp joined along with it we are being united along with the Spirit of God that is the Spirit of God is the clasp that unites the loops. Loops are each one of us and God is showing us as a pattern through Moses the holy dwelling place, the deeds of the Holy Spirit and the appearances.

These are all united and are manifested as one dwelling place. That is what all God’s children are manifested as one body (Christ) and one dwelling place.

This is, in Romans 6: 3 – 5 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 

Therefore, we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection.

In this manner, those who are united are in the likeness of His resurrection are being united together and built as God’s dwelling place.

Exodus 26: 7 “You shall also make curtains of goats’ hair, to be a tent over the tabernacle. You shall make eleven curtains.

These, God is covering us with his glory.

In this manner, we read that God says still many things are to be done for the dwelling place to raise it up.

Exodus 26: 31 “You shall make a veil woven of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen. It shall be woven with an artistic design of cherubim.

This is being shown as a pattern for love, joy, peace, long suffering with these the veil is being made. He is showing this veil as a pattern to our Lord Jesus Christ. In that it was woven with an artistic design of cherubim (praise)

Exodus 26: 32 You shall hang it upon the four pillars of acacia wood overlaid with gold. Their hooks shall be gold, upon four sockets of silver.

In this manner, let us all submit ourselves to be changed as God’s dwelling place. We will meditate the explanation of this tomorrow.
